"Alright, come on. This isn't the place to talk."
---
"Hahaha."
I inhale.
"Hahahaha!" I inhale again, "Haa, why do I find this so funny?"
"What's happening to her?"
I'm sitting on the couch, watching a projection of everything that happened last night at the opening ceremony. Next to me are Sera and Lana.
"Erm—it's—" both of them are looking at me for an answer.
I cough, "It's something you'll both learn in school."
They tilt their heads in confusion.
"The place you're going to from now on; Monday through Friday. It starts in a few days, actually," I look at the fringe calendar.
Unfortunately—it seems they took it the wrong way, as I start to hear sniffles.
"Y-you don't want us anymore?" Lana starts sobbing.
"But I-I've been good!. I h-haven't burned anyone in a l-long time now!" Sera is right there with her.
Over the time we've been together, I've built up some resistance to them, but right now, it's starting to crumble, and my urge to give in to anything they want is steadily increasing.
To ensure my will stays firm, I must solve this situation.
"You know, sometimes I just want to knock you guys upside the head," I say while bumping them on their heads.
This stops their crying, and they look up at me through their puffy eyes, "Wha-what do you mean?"
I rub their backs to help soothe them, "What I mean is that you two tend to blow things out of proportion when there is no reason to."
I continue, "You'll still be seeing me plenty since school doesn't take all day. And with your heads, it won't take you long to complete any work either."
I hug them, "That still leaves plenty of time to hang out with me, and even if you didn't go to school, you'd be here alone since I'll be dealing with the new company for a good portion of the day."
"Can't we just go with you? We won't cause any trouble." Lana asks while giving a pointed look at her sister-who-tends-to-burn-stuff.
"Yeah, we'll be good," she acts oblivious to her stare.
'Well—they could, but—NO! Keep your resolve, Mr. Feather Butt! The lolis will not win this time!'
Loli may not be the right word since they're as tall as a shorter woman, but considering how tall I am, that still qualifies as a loli.
"No. You two must go to high school; it's important for your development as individuals," I say with a hardened face.
'If they only knew how close I was to cracking.'
They pout but eventually nod, "Yes, Brother."
"And you can't burn or tie anyone up either; you're going there to learn, not fight."
That must have been just as big a hit to them as going to school since their heads drooped even lower, "Yes, Brother."
I pat their backs, "Oh, knock it off, you two, it won't be all that bad. There'll be a bunch of people there, and maybe you'll make a few friends."
"Mm," is all I get in response.
Sighing, I stand up.
Then a wry smile spreads across my face.
They're both hanging off my arms.
Clicking my tongue, I say, "Well—I was going to take my two adorable little sisters to the movies, but I can't drive like this, so—"
"Movies!" They both let go of my arms and stand at attention.
"What movie?"
"Is it the one ab—"
I put my hands on their heads, "You'll know when we get there."
"When does it start?"
"When we get there."
"When are we leaving?"
"When the movie's about to start."
"Brother, stop answering in circles."
"Who's answering in circles?"
"You are!"
"Who's You? I don't recall ever letting a You in here."
"Brother!"
"Yes?"
They both sigh and look at me with a smile, both saying, "I love you," then give me a proper hug.
I smile like a mission was successful, "I know."
Sera kicks me in the shin, "Don't ruin the moment."
I hug them back, "Never in my wildest dreams."

Lying in bed after returning from the movie, I recall the meeting I had with Tony and the Fantastic Four after the opening ceremony.
Reed's group came for a specific purpose, to learn what they could about dimensional travel and if Ben's appearance could go back to normal.
Being the generous person I am—I asked what they could provide for that information.
After stumbling over themselves in order to come up with a reply, I laughed my ass off and told them what they wanted to know.
I didn't outright tell them how to do anything, as that would only stunt their growth in the long run.
Instead, I gave them hints and pointed them in the right direction so they wouldn't waste too much time fishing in empty waters.
This universe has followed the MCU timeline so far, but considering the existence of the Fantastic Four, Doom, Mutants, and whatever else.
Thanos may send more than what he did in the original invasion, Loki or not.
'I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he knew I was active on Earth as well, even before my face was plastered all over the news.'
Thanos's influence is far, and Earth is an important location since it holds two Infinity Stones.
As for Tony, he came—just because he wanted to.
That, and I'm sure some subconscious part of him is trying to learn more about me, considering his propensity for preparing for any situation.
He may have only dealt with a 'family' betrayal and an angry Russian so far, but my existence has made him aware of more things at a faster pace than originally.
His armors are already different than the original timeline; they seem a couple of versions more advanced.
'I imagine the existence of mutants and the Four have influenced that as well.'
Mutants don't have that much attention right now. Whatever timeline they're on still has a while to 'start,' it seems.
Tony mostly talked about his own goings-on as well as taking an interest in what 'my' company was making.
He was especially interested in the more 'advanced' materials that we'll eventually be making.
He, of course, said that he could make better, and indeed he has, but I didn't show him the best stuff either.
'Since that would be stupid.'
He eventually left after telling me to drop by some time to check out his armors.
He said, "It's only fair since you showed me what you're working on," though he probably just wants me to give him some more 'hints.'
I still plan on going, though.
I may be able to rip them apart with my bare hands, but they're still cool as fuck.
'What man wouldn't want to mess around with an actual Iron Man suit?!'
It also opened my mind to the possibility of making my own suit. That way, I could still participate in the goings-on of Earth without actually using my own power.
They would technically be a product of my brain and wouldn't be violating my self-imposed limitations.
I could get some input from Doom, as well, since his armors are the perfect fusion of both the technological and the magical.
'Heh, heh, heh. A part of me wants to ditch my powers and just make some badass suits instead.'
In a hurry, I sit up from bed, "Why don't I just combine them?"
Remembering something about Mjolnir, 'No, no, no. Why not instead, make them something that can actually add to my overall strength.'
"And I know just where to go in order to do that," standing up from bed, I am about to start getting dressed, but then I remember something.
'Ah, shit. How could I forget? I still have to make a suit.'
'No—I actually have to learn how to make a suit since that's not my area of expertise.'
I sit back down, "Damn."
Another realization hits me, 'I also have to upgrade my escape tool if I want to go there.'
'What a bummer. Here I was all excited, but now I can't even do it in the first place.'
And if I want to do it right, I'll have to make an extremely good suit. At least the main structure would have to be.
And to do that, I'll have to get the thing I'm staying here for.
I smile, 'At least now I have a greater motivation to complete my mission of 'world domination,' or whatever it's called.'
Tilting my head, 'Even though it's absurdly overkilled for what I want to get.'
Shaking my head, I start laying down again, but my door is opened as two people rush in.
"Are we going somewhere?"
When I was excited, I accidentally released my intent through our connection.
"Not right now, but after I get what I'm staying on Earth for, we will."
"Then why don't you just go and get it?" Lana is the one to ask.
I hold up my fingers, "First, it's too early to get what I want. Second, it's no fun if I just go and take it."
Sera asks with curiosity, "What is it you want to get?"
I smile, "That's for me to know and you to wonder about, but I can tell you that it's r—"
Lana jumps on me, "Brother, either tell us everything or nothing at all. Don't play around by only hinting."
"Fine, fine—I'll keep it to myself then."
"Argh, you meany! That was supposed to make you tell us!" She throws a 'fit.'
"Ha! You thought you could outsmart your brother? I think I'll have to punish you!" A devilish smile spreads across my face.
They try to run, but the door slams shut and locked before they can.
Soon after, endless laughter accompanied by cries of help could be heard from my room, as I tickled them until they passed out from exhaustion.

//Note//
I wrote this only to realize nothing actually happened... well, nothing to do about it now.
--
Can anyone guess what he's after yet?
So far, I have never seen it done, even though it seems like one of the most obvious things for an 'other-worlder' to do if they end up in Marvel.
Or maybe there's some reason for it not happening that I'm unaware of, but I'll be exercising my Author's Authority if that happens.
--
Why are the sisters getting so much 'screen time?'
Because they aren't side characters and will be an actual part of his journey.
On top of that, they're also developing as characters. It'd be kinda weird if I jumped straight to them being adults not long after them being 'born.'
Also, I actually NEED to write them since they aren't already made characters, and it helps me making their 'profile.'
--
Why is this being a bit more comedic than before?
Because I'm not depressed fuck who wants to be even more depressed.
I personally consider this an "I'll tear out your fucking spine and laugh while doing it!" kind of novel.
And any of the more comedic parts are me just coming up with stuff on the spot.
I'm not shoehorning anything in, it just feels right.

Why no one-night stands?
First, who's to say he hasn't and I just didn't write it?
Second, it already takes long enough to write a normal chapter, and adding smut to that would make it take even longer.
Third, by my logic ONSs are—shall we say—worthless. The 'partner' would hold no significance to the story and would only serve as erotic filler. A temporary cum-dumpster that would only serve to tie up reader feelings.
Fourth, he's too big for most. Okay, this one is technically true but magic is a thing so—
Fifth— ; ) —maybe I just haven't gotten around to it. After all, I'll have to practice my smut skills on something.
--
Why am I writing these notes?
They actually help me think about the story, and I would probably write them even if people didn't ask them.
I also don't think many authors do this. Letting the readers look into the mind of the author, that is.
