"Was that supposed to be a joke?" Avery frowned.

"I should be the one offering a helping hand because seeing both of you here suggests you need assistance. Haven't you come to seek funding?"

"Shut your trap, bitch! What's it to us, anyway? We're better than you. You're here looking for a janitor job, while we're seeking funding for a 'company'."

Avery gave them both a cold stare and walked away, but they continued to hurl insults and abuse at her.

"Let's see who would hire you, you dumb skull. We'll make sure you're kicked out of here in seconds, fool!" Seeing Avery walk into the company majestically only fueled their fury. How could someone as despicable as Avery be allowed onto the company's premises in the first place? Marco and Albert approached one of the security guards."
