Heaven's Devour Chapter 01:Trash

It is a hot day when a boy was running through the forest as if he is running away from something that's very scary. The boy was running at full speed around the forest at full speed ,he was even sweating.

The boy ran until he reached at kid and once he reached the forest he looked around trying to make sure that no one saw him and once he confirmed that no one saw him he entered inside. The cave was as big as a room. The boy calmly went inside and he first wiped out the sweat then he jumped on the bed and lay there.

Once the boy jumped on the bed his breathing started to slowly stabilize and after a few seconds he let out a long breath then finally stabilized his breathing. The boys name is Max Gates. The cave he is in is where he lives, he doesn't live in the village because everyone there thinks he is bad luck.

The reason the villagers think that he is bad luck is because the day he was born there was a seven coloured lightning and his mother also died shortly after giving birth to him. Following which his father also died when he was ten and his course of death was due to being struck by lightning.

From that day on his relatives and everyone shun him away and even chased him away from the village and now he lives in the forest in a cave that used to belong to a bear. His cave is far from the village which causes his him to be dead tired when he goes from his cave to the village or from the village to the cave.

Max is wearing ragged clothesline showing that he can't even afford cloths,his only source of income is the money he gets from selling deer meat to the village butcher. Even that little amount of money of money he can only afford to by himself some shabby qi pills to cultivate.

Qi pills are pills that have some spiritual qi inside and are used to help people to easily absorb the qi in the heavens and earth. The only people who can make pills are alchemist which is a rare occupation so all things from alchemist are expensive.

After calming himself Max got up and sat cross legged on his wooden bed and then he threw a qi pilli in his mouth. The pill entered his mouth and slowly melted as if released some qi and unblocked his clogged meridians. When his meridians got unclogged Max quickly circulated Mountain Shaking cultivation technique and absorbed the qi.

"Fuck if only my meridians were not blocked then I could absorb and contain qi easier without needing to always use a qi pill to help cultivate" Max cursed at his own miserable faith.

"Fuck this cultivation technique is also shabby how can I get beauties with this lowest cultivation technique" Max really hated his cursed faith but nevertheless he still endured bitter on.

Max is cultivating with the aim to reach the qi gathering realm. The qi gathering realm is also known as the foundation realm,when one had learned to store and gather qi will they then be in the qi gathering realm. Max is fourteen years old and kids his age own age have already reached the sixth stage of the qi gathering realm while the geniuses are about to breakthrough to the qi formation realm.

After training Max got out of his cave very disheartened as he couldn't breakthrough to qi gathering realm. He sighed then went to the village, as he was walking he heard a jeering voice, "hey trash still can't breakthrough to qi gathering realm?".

Turning to look around Max saw a group of boys crowded around a well dressed boy looking closely Red realized that the well dressed boy is Baron the son of the village chief ,he is the one who asked the question. The boys who were around Baron were already laughing but Max slowly smiled and said " yeah I still can't same way you still can't catch the heart of miss Zhiju"

Max walked away leaving Baron ashen faced but Baron quickly calmed down then beckoned to one of the boys besides him. "Beat him for me,beat him till even his mother beyond the grave can't recognize him." The boy Baron called showed a smile as he quickly replied "as you wish young master".

Max was walking around the village to ease his boredom but now he became vigilante since he knows what kind of person Baron is so he knows he'll send some of his boys after him but Max is not afraid even tho he knows each one of them is stronger than him. Reason he is not afraid I'd because he has tactics and the traps set up by the village hunters in the forest and Max knows where everyone of them are.

Max continued walking until he reached the forest where he found a group of boys waiting and looking at him when Max saw them he showed them the middle finger,upon seeing that the boys became incensed and shouted "Trash you should bow down now so we can give you less of a beating than you were supposed to get"

Another one shouted "lick my shoes and call me grandpa and I'll let you go". Max looked at them as if they were retards then he shouted word for word "fuck you and your whole eighteen generations of your ancestors!!!". Once he finished shouting he ran to the other entrance of the forest with the other boys chasing after.

Max ran around the forest while being chased and he avoided traps but made sure the others triggered them as a lot of them got stabbed by porcupine needles but poor Max was like an ordinary human him his chasers were setting of traps after traps from bee stings to bear traps all kinds of traps were triggers and all kinds of screams were heard.

"How do you like my gift to you guys!!" Max shouted while running. "Fuck if I catch you I'll roast you alive", angry shouts same from behind Max. Soon an hour passed as they were playing cat and mouse and Max was deaf tired but his pursuers weren't far off. Him who was like an ordinary human was outrunning them who were in qi gathering. Max was now gasping for breath then he turned around to look behind at his pursuers but when he then turned to focus on the way he tripped and fell off the cliff in front.

The last thing that was heard from Max is "Fuck this was never here"
