Chapter 2

I started my bike and rode home, my thoughts swirling with confusion and anger.

My head throbbed as I entered the house, only to be greeted by the beeping sound of the house phone. I checked the voicemail left by my uncle, who informed me that he would be out of town for the next week. Tossing my duffle bag onto the couch, I made my way upstairs to take a shower. Stepping under the warm water, a mix of relief and stinging sensation washed over my face and back. The thought of Claudia setting me up kept plaguing my mind. If only I had stayed in my hometown with my girlfriend, Nicole, none of this would have happened. Turning off the shower and wrapping myself in a towel, I entered my room, only to find Claudia standing there, completely naked.

"Claudia, what are you doing in my room? Actually, how did you even get into my house?" I scowled, taken aback by her presence.

"Leon, calm down. The door was unlocked, and I came to check on you," she explained.

"Then why the hell are you naked? And what do you mean, check on me? Get out of my house!" I demanded, my frustration mounting.I couldn't believe that two hours had passed since I was in the shower. Looking past Claudia, I noticed the full moon high in the sky. My heart started racing, and as I gazed at her, I realized I had never seen a woman naked before, not even Nicole's body. We had never had the chance to take our relationship to that level. Claudia took a step closer to me, her eyes filled with vibrant lust. With each step, my heart pounded harder, until our chests were touching. The difficulty of my situation became even more apparent. I knew that if I didn't act, I would end up cheating on my girlfriend. But even entertaining the thought was already crossing a line. Feeling her inner thigh against me made it harder to push her away.

"Hey Claudia, you need to leave. I have a girlfriend, and you've caused enough problems," I said, trying to regain control of the situation. I couldn't help but notice her neck glowing in the moonlight. The longer I stared, the more I felt an overwhelming urge to bite. Warm air escaped from my mouth, intensifying the sensation. She needed to leave. Managing to free myself from her tight grip, I took a step back and stared at her.

"Could you not ruin the mood and let me enjoy myself?" Claudia's tone changed, and her eyes flickered with a golden hue. I couldn't care less about how she felt. I had no intention of cheating on my girlfriend. Turning away, I walked towards my dresser, leaving her standing in the same spot. Since she wanted to have sex, I knew it would be challenging to trick her into putting on her clothes. As a warm hand ran down my back, the towel around me dropped to the wooden floor.

"I SAID ENOUGH!" A beastly growl replaced my voice tinged with a growl. She flinched and withdrew herself. A sudden breeze alerted me to the fact that my towel had been whisked away. I quickly put on some clothes, and as I slammed the door shut, Claudia left the house. The next morning I began to get dressed and head to my motorcycle.

As Leon drove his way through the bustling streets towards the prestigious university, his heart raced with a whirlwind of thoughts. The unsettling phone call with Nicole, his childhood friend, replayed in his mind, her voice filled with fear and urgency. She had warned him about a dangerous secret, something that involved their families and threatened their very lives. And then there was his uncle, who had been acting strangely lately, disappearing for days on end without any explanation.

As he finally reached the campus, Leon parked his bike and took a moment to compose himself. He closed his eyes and inhaled deeply, the cool morning air filling his lungs, as he tried to shake off the unease that had settled in his bones. With a determined look on his face, he pushed open the doors of the lecture hall and stepped inside.
