You must be really important

After coaxing Alex a bit, Kaia left, going down to teach music to some newcomers. Of course, they knew some things, but Kaia was to show them the fundamentals.

First was some of her students that moved to the city to pursue music. Kaia loved this, and her students really enjoyed it. Kaia stood by the piano correcting the student's tones then going over a song that was chosen for them. That song would be their debut single.

Alex couldn't pay attention at the moment, so he stood from his office chair and went down the halls. It was still hard to believe Kaia was back yet alone in the same building. He walked up to her class door and leaned against the frame quietly watching. Seeing she was doing ok made him calmer, so he went back to his office to get some work done.

Alexa was adjusting to school slowly. After taking the placement tests with Kaia's approval, she was bumped up three grades and even put into advanced classes, along with a class to learn Korean. Everyone seemed to treat her ordinarily or even act like she didn't exist. This time she didn't get bullied for not having a father either.

Alexa had her basic classes first, then after lunch, she had social studies, then PE. Alexa walked into the cafeteria going through the line. She grabbed her food and went to the closest, empty table. Sitting down, Alexa opened up a book of basic Korean that she checked out from the library and read it as she ate. 

Engrossed in her book, Alexa picked up a baby carrot from her tray and chomped on it. Her eyes never left the pages. Bretton appeared behind her, looking over her shoulder reading half a page before reaching over her, plucking the book from her hands. He sat down next to her and smirked."Korean?," He said mockingly.

Alexa first looked shocked until she swallowed the carrot in her mouth. She cleared her throat."Bretton? You go here?" She asked looking around then back at him. He was older than her, even though she skipped a few grades, why would he want to sit with her. Alexa cautiously eyed him for a bit until he poked her forehead, "It's not nice to stare."

Blinking, Alexa went back to eating her lunch. Bretton ate some before speaking," Yes. I go to this school. Everyone was talking about a genius girl that skipped grades, I was surprised when I saw it was you. You don't look that smart," he picked with a chuckle. Alexa glared at him smacking his arm lightly. "My mum and dad are smart as well, so it's hereditary," she said smiling.

They both ate then just hung out until it was time for the next class. They separated into different classes before joining each other in PE. They were instantly glued together, partnering up for various activities.

After school let out, Alexa and Bretton sat in front of the school talking, waiting to be picked up. They were both going to Sabor Sights, so Naomi was going to pick them up. Bretton looked around noticing the bodyguards then looked at Alexa. "You have bodyguards? You must be really important, "He smirked, teasing.

Alexa gave a half smile before looking down at her hands with a sigh. "Well, it's a long story, but my family has people after us," She explained while exhaling.

Seeing Naomi's car, they both stood up from the bench. Alexa walked up to the edge of the sidewalk waiting for Naomi to park. In one quick motion, a man was there with her wrist in hand. He clutched it tighter trying to pull her away. Bretton was quick on his feet. He threw this backpack down and quickly jumped in between them knocking his hand away before bending it back. He swiftly kicked him in the chest before throwing him over his shoulder. With a loud thud, the man was pinned to the ground. The Bodyguards were now with them, grabbing ahold of the man.

Alexa stared at Bretton, surprised at what just happened. It took her a second to process everything. Naomi ran out of her car and up to them, "Alexa, are you alright? Bretton grab your things and let's go. The guards will take care of him."

Bretton nodded and turned to grab his bag. Without hesitation he grabbed Alexa's hand pulling her to the car, making her get in first. Alexa sat down pulling the belt across her, buckling it. "How'd you do that?" she asked her attention going to Bretton. Bretton glanced at her, "I've been taking Karate since I was two. "

Naomi quickly drove them straight to the company, escorting them in. Once inside, Naomi took them up to Alex's office. Getting them inside, Naomi closed the door. Alex looked up from his papers before staring at them all. He stood up and walked to Alexa, patting her head lightly."You were brave," He said to Alexa before looking at Bretton. "I heard you were the one who took down the guy, Thanks." Bretton nodded to Alex before looking at the clock on the wall.

Bretton sighed, "Well I have to go, I have to finish recording." He stopped for a second before looking at Alex. "Mr.Sabor, Is it okay if I borrow Alexa for a bit. There's a part in my song I want Alexa to do. I will keep her safe," He said with a smile before looking at Alexa.

Alexa looked at Alex." Daddy, please! We will also do our homework," She bargained a bit. Alex let out a sigh rubbing his face before nodding, "Okay, you better do your homework as well. Your mom will be down on the recording floor with a few of your classmates from the country. Don't forget to stop by and see them as well." Smiling, Alexa nodded and walked out the door, Bretton following behind her.

Naomi watched them leave then turned to look at Alex with a grin."It's so cute, Alexa is finding her first love," She said with excitement. Alex glared at her, "Don't say that. They are just kids, go follow them and keep them out of trouble and send Zac in, I have an errand for him." Naomi nodded, "Yes sir!" She smiled big as she left the room.
