Alex searched across the crowd and pointed to a few others that just asked what the event was about. His answer was typical and quick, "You'll see." Pointing to another person, Alex lifted his head waiting for the question.

The report cleared her throat," Mr. Sabor. You already mentioned your daughter being in the wreck. What is her condition like? and I give her my prayers to heal fast."She asked her question. Alex looked at her and a slight smile, just on the corner of his lip curled upward. "Alexa is stable for now. She has a few broken ribs, a punctured lung, and two fractures. One in her collarbone and her leg. She is covered in burns and bruises from the impact of the asphalt," Alex stopped his face going cold again. "The doctors are working hard for her, and she is expected to recover. They said she was fortunate," He finished. The reporter looked satisfied with his answer.

Alex was going to choose another question but stopped seeing the man of the hour arrive. Alex stood straight before glancing back at the audience. "Alright everyone, Now that the man of the hour has come. Let's welcome, Mr. Crestfall to the stage," He announced and the audience applauded. Many were shouting questions trying to figure out what was going down since they were rival companies.

Mr. Crestfall made his way to the platform waving his hand in the air with a smile, totally unaware of how much his world was going to change. Zac made sure to signal the officers to get ready for anything. Seeing that Mr. Crestfall called Caine after the phone call to celebrate. Caine stood in the back with his arms crossed.

Once Mr. Crestfall was at his side, Alex held up his hand to calm the people down. "Alright! Let me start by saying that the Crestfalls and the Sabors have a long history. Our companies have been rivals since I was young. Crestfall industries always held the top position. When I was a kid, My father was hospitalized, and I roamed the halls a lot. I came across a playroom for the sick children of the hospital, That's where I first met my wife, Kaia." Alex told the story of their lives growing up. The reporters were writing and listening intently.

One reporter was brave enough to call out, "What about Mi Sung?" Alex looked at the person and just gave a nod of his head. "Mi Sung was an arranged marriage proposal. I first met her when I moved to Korea. Even after meeting her I didn't have feelings for her, but I was going to marry for the company. That was until the summer I was reunited with Kaia," He said, continuing his story. The story was kept short but detailed. The crowd didn't mind because of the juicy details they were getting.

Mr. Crestfall was getting impatient. He gently tapped Alex's shoulder and leaned in."Please get on with it; I have places to be, "He complained. Alex sneered lightly, then smirked nodding. "Okay," He turned back to the podium. "The reason I called all of you here today. Is that I wanted to announce what Mr. Crestfall has been trying to keep hidden," He spoke.

Mr. Crestfall's brows furrowed at his words. Alex continued," He wants to hurry this along ... So I won't waste any more time. Mr. Crestfall faked my wife's death and shot me to make her leave. He used me to get to her." The crowd was speechless at first then they burst into questions.

"Are you sure it was him that shot you?"

"How do you know he shot you? Why would he want Kaia gone?"

Alex lifted his hand once more. "The five years that my wife was gone, she was digging into Mr.Crestfall. Kaia wanted to return to me, but something kept her away. Not only his threat but because she had a child. Our child, Alexa, She didn't want Alexa to be brought into the mess," He explained more. Weary eyes wandered over Mr. Crestfall making his anxiety rise.

Mr. Crestfall clenched his fist," I didn't come here for you to Insult or blame me for your life problems. If you have proof, then show it!" Alex couldn't help but smirk at the man's words. Alex looked in Naomi's direction, and she nodded bringing up the files.

Alex received the files thanking Naomi. Alex lifted the folder in the air, "My wife being the genius that she is. She put together the best team to handle the job." Seeing what was happening, Caine slipped further into the back so he could remain unnoticed.

Alex placed the files on the podium and opened it pulling out the first few documents. "Mr. Crestfall learned that Kaia wasn't his daughter a few years before trying to get rid of her. He arranged a marriage partner for her that she went along with for a while until the marriage partner decided to abuse her, physically and mentally," He explained.

"These are written reports from doctors, and a few testimonies for when Kaia didn't go to the hospital. The "Fiancee" and abuser is none other than Caine Martsching, who is Mr. Crestfall's biological son, created with a one night stand on a business trip," His voice spoke out stern and fierce.

Mr. Crestfall froze on the spot trying to figure out how he found that out. He kept that hidden deep underground for so long. Caine took this chance, during the commotion to slip out of sight and away from the event. Leaving Mr. Crestfall to fend for himself.

"Even though his son was born of a different woman, he wronged my mother in law and wife because Kaia wasn't his. He was worried Kaia would get in the way of Caine and decided to rid of her. He hired a man by the name of Mr. Kitt Williams to assassinate Kaia, I got in the way and was shot in her stead. Though finding out about our secret marriage, he decided that to get to her he would use me to send her away. He didn't expect her to fight back," Alex smirked and looked at Mr. Crestfall who was going to flee.

Alex waved his hand for the security to hold him in place before continuing, "Even though we were put through so much, Kaia and I decided to give him a chance to let things go and let things be. That's the reason we waited so long to release these details. Apparently, Mr. Crestfall couldn't handle the thought of Kaia being back into the picture. Once she returned, he started plotting to use our daughter against us," He stated.

Mr. Crestfall was glaring angrily," Documents can be forged! You can't blame me for any of this!" The reports started screaming out questions again.
