According to witnesses

Setting his guitar to the side, Alex rubbed the back of his head. Kaia smiled and walked into the sound booth sitting with Alex. She leaned her head on his shoulder and inhaled."That song is beautiful, I didn't know you could sing," She said softly. Alex smiled and kissed her head," I guess that means we have to find out more about each other." Kaia giggled blissfully, wrapping her arms around him.

Alex gently stroked her hair before standing up, "Okay. Time to get back to work." Standing beside him, Kaia nodded. Alex walked out of the booth and stopped, "Naomi. Work with Kaia today. Make sure she doesn't overwork herself." His words were intentional and Kaia knew why. She smiled and shooed Alex out.

Naomi looked at Kaia tilting her head."What was that about?" She asked, crossing her arms. Kaia pulled out her phone and began looking something up as she responded," Alex and I are wanting to have another baby. He most likely wants to limit stress." Naomi stopped in her tracks and did a double take," Another baby?!" Kaia looked up from her phone nodding with a smile. Frowning, Naomi stepped closer. "Having Alexa almost killed you. Are you sure you can do it again?" She asked concerned about her friend.

Kaia stopped and bit her lip lightly, "I was sick. I got a transplant and the doctor said there's a slight chance of it coming back during pregnancy. He didn't say it was going to. Besides, Living life to the fullest is better than living in fear." Naomi exhaled and nodded. "Alright, I understand. So what are you doing? I'm at your service today?" She asked watching Kaia dive back into her phone.

Scrolling through a few pages Kaia stopped and smiled, "Alex's birthday is in a few days. You heard that song. I need to step up my game." Kaia grinned and walked over to Ben sitting down next to him. "I found a song just like he did, I can do it mostly piano but some violins and or something soft should accompany it," Kaia said watching Ben as his eyes scanned the song.

Ben nodded lightly, "This song is simple. He actually looked at this artist as well, but his voice alone didn't go well with it." Ben halted with a smile, "Why don't we make a medley of two of her songs. If we are making a love ballad it'll be perfect." Kaia smiled and patted his shoulder, "You're the man!" Kaia looked up at Naomi, "Close and lock the door. No sneak peeks either, It's his birthday present." Naomi smiled and nodded doing as told.

At school Alexa and Bretton were in the music room for lunch. They sat at the piano sharing a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. When they finished they both sipped their drinks clearing their throats before Bretton began to stroke the keys of the piano smoothly. The two began to sing together like they usually did around each other.

Soon a small crowd was outside of the room. A few of the children were recording them on phones, they liked the way they sounded together. A certain group of Bretton's fangirls wasn't too happy. They didn't get any recognition at school and yet the new girl was always around him and now even singing with him. One of them smirked and pulled the group away.

As the bell sounded, Alexa stood up grabbing her things. "I'll see you in recess, Don't fail your math test," She joked. Bretton stood as well and smirked, "yeah yeah, miss smarty pants. Just go to class." Alexa quickly hugged Bretton before leaving.

Bretton was checked out of school after his test. He had to go to a studio for a television broadcast. The videos of the two were uploaded almost immediately and ended up going viral in a matter of almost two hours. So during the broadcast, Bretton was asked about Alexa and the videos.

At the end of school, Alexa boarded her car with her bodyguards and made her way to the company. As she sat in the back seat she began to do her homework. The car slammed on breaks due to a dog running out into the road, making Alexa drop her pencil. She frowned and unbuckled, placing her book to the side, getting on the floorboard reaching for her pencil. One of the bodyguards began to scold her to sit back down and buckle up as the car began to move forward again.

In the blink of an eye, A large bang rang out and everything went blank.

At the office, Kaia sat in Alex's office working on the books when the news came onto the Tv. A live broadcast of a three car pile up at a major intersection was blocked off. Two cars were majorly totaled as one's front end was messed up. The reporter began to explain.

[ According to witnesses, A truck ran a red light hitting the second car at high speed. The impact sent the car into a spiral where it flipped three times crashing into the third car.]

Kaia stopped what she was doing and looked at the tv. Her heart clenched at the words as she scanned the tv.

[The scene is closed off to civilians, witnesses also announced that a small child was thrown from one of the cars.]

The reporter stopped for a second listening to her earpiece before speaking again.

[ This just in, we have an aerial view of the wreckage.]

Footage of the wreck was shown over the tv. Ambulances and fire trucks surrounded the area. Kaia's heart clenched more and it became harder to breathe as she noticed the car on the tv. As if almost gasping for air she stood up from the office chair running out of the office. Kaia didn't get too far before Naomi was at her side. "Kaia take a deep breath, We will head down to the garage. Zac is going to get Alex from the meeting and will meet us there," She said, rubbing her friends back. She wanted to be supportive but she started to tear up as well. Alexa was like a daughter to Naomi, It was hard to keep calm.
