When I first Meet You 2

Years had gone by when the name Esperanza arose again. A frail, sympathetic, and gorgeous woman. She was the daughter and the successor to the Young Medical Hospital. Unfortunately, the successor wasn't given a long time to wander around. Her demise devastated the executives.

Her existence alone rattled hearts of others, and simply hearing her name sent Elenor to a world she hadn't been to before—a time without her.

For some reason, the young miss couldn't get over the notion that the old man, appeared to might have been in the picture from the very beginning together with her mother; that he had been a part of Esperanza Eaves' history.

Perhaps her mother can help her; perhaps she still had her chance to forge a bond that never existed between her and Matthew. A relationship between a father and his little girl.

Elenor cleared her throat, delicately gliding her leg in his direction, before swinging her complete figure to face Matthew. "Before I go, just one more question. Who was that old man?" she stated, folding both of her arms behind her back as if it helps her suppressing the ego she swallows for him.

Elenor would not dare to beg one more time if it hadn't been for him. Matthew never batted an eye; rather, he went about his business. After all, he had left the villa for business reasons. "I'll call someone to drive you back, you can stay in the other room." He responded as his expression twitched, "I can drive myself home" she rapidly began to run to the sofa within the desk where her father did his work "Can you tell me who he was and how well does he know mother? Does he know an awful lot about her?" her jaw delicately settled into the palm of her hands where her forearm lay in the sofa's arm.

"Will you stop yapping for once? Isn't it enough for you to storm in here without my permission?!" he blasted, clearly fed up with her, "...Can't you at least try to hide even just a little that you don't like me?" her lips trembled, for some reason she hoped he act like he didn't hate her after all, he is the one and only family she has.

She sprang to her feet, ready to flee. It seems that she will never have a good minute with her family.

He might have been right, it was none of her business. Elenor has had nothing to do with her mother for the past eighteen years. She is, however, still her mother. All she could do was seal her lips and walk away, ready to move on about creating a bond with her father.

The room throbbed with faint knocks as she reached the doorway. Elenor's head was filled with DeJa'Vu from earlier with that damn old man "It's me," a husky voice called from the other end of the door.

"...Come on in," the door swung open, revealing a man in a black suit who buried his brown eyes in the bright gaze of the young missus.

Their gazes are locked. An enormous sensation emerged within her, a sensation she had never felt before, and it caused her heart to pound wildly, almost leaping out of her throat, for whatever reason her complexion began to burn.

Her nervousness took over her system, making the inside of her neck dry. The young miss had finally been visited by the spring. "Fa- father, who is he?" she stutters, while Matthew did not bother and completely ignored her presence.

Even if he did find some time to spear her the attention, he will not do so. Besides, the young miss would be unable to understand a word from Matthew, given that this fine gentleman in question had already casted his spell, leaving the state of her mind unable to hear nor see anything other than him, "Have a seat," Matthew, who hadn't even bothered to offer a seat to his daughter, gladly offers the young gentleman.

"Thank you, sir," he said as he approached the sofa near the cup of espresso Elenor had spilled earlier, "what is your name?" Elenor was still perplexed, yet she managed to ask directly, "... Please call me Sebastian. I am an intern from a nearby university. It is nice to finally meet you, young miss."

*ELENOR* (back to present)

'

"Young Miss," a faint voice echoes through my ears; voices I've heard a hundred times, but I can't seem to recognize; the sounds of them tingle in my ears, gradually a dim light sparks in my sight, growing brighter and almost blinding me.

"Please wake up, young miss!" he begged.

As he called out for me, my heart was filled with joy. A gentle warmth pervades my palm, making every ounce of my body sense his hands trembling on mine. Nobody ever cried out for me with such devotion before. His soothing voice reaching out only for me, worried for my well-being, leading to me not wanting to wake up at all. I'm curious who he could be.

My heavy eyelids delicately open, everything is still fuzzy; a figure appears in front of me. A man's shadows protecting my vision from the light while he touches my cheeks as if I were a newborn infant who needed his full attention at all times.

I squinted my eyes for the nth time till my vision regained. My head rested on something that seemed somewhat too firm to be referred to as pillows. I can feel the moisture dripping off my skin, and my back felt warm on the soft mattress.

His gaze stared down on mine, almost too closely for it not to be a dream. Sebestian's finger glides from my cheeks to my hair as he tenderly combs it. "Are you okay, young miss?" I gulped for air. "You must have been tired from all your studying," Sebastian worriedly murmured, still combing my hair, feeling like he was attempting to murder me with his motions. My heart can't take all of it!

Suddenly flashbacks from my bath came flooding back to me. Did I fall asleep in the bath?

His gaze examined all aspects of my body, even my breathing, to ensure that I was in good shape. I only pray I don't look awful right now; after all, I just stepped out from a bath!

That's right, I just got out of the bath. When did I get out of the bath?

"Prepare a nightgown for the young miss," he says after checking that I am alright. Wait a minute, what nightgown? Don't I already have one on? Isn't that right?

What he said made me sit up immediately, examining myself in case I was butt naked. Thank goodness someone wrapped a towel around my body.

"...Get some rest, I'll be fine now" Although, if I'm being honest, I simply wish he leaves before he notices how red my complexion is.

Thankfully Sebastian sprang out of mattress and adjusted his clothes, cautiously darting his gaze over my slim frame. "...Are you okay now? I am still convinced we should call a doctor, so let me first inform the Sire."

"No, I'm fine. I fell asleep because I was feeling exhausted, just like you mentioned, besides I doubt he'd care."

"...Then I'll take your word for it and excuse myself"
