Sacrifice.

"Look! I know I tried to kill you but, I promise to repent on it. I swear to never do it again. I swear to god?" Asked a heartless psychopathic human.

"Shhhhhhh....You troubled my sleeping time, and I need retribution. So, die for me please..." Said a girly silhouette.

That was badass, right? I feel like I'm so cool. I want to take on the whole world. But nah.., I'm a sloth in the blood. I hate fighting, but I fight if something messes with me. That's my life.

I'm Selena. And I don't know my parent. I know nothing of my past. I only know Juino. He's the old guy drinking beers laid all over the sofa. He's the one who took care of me. He taught me. He was here for me. But now, he's just a pile of shit smelling worse than shit. That's the result of No-Bath for years. Tell them Juino!!!

"Flower!" Screamed Juino as he lifts his beer bottle to express his joy of being a smelly bastard.

That's right?! That's Juino. But follow me. I've got more to tell.. I live in the modern time. Humans, buildings, technologies. That's my current life. I'm not rich, but I'm not poor. I just live life like it is, and steals when needed. Its out-dated to pay nowadays. I'm young and I want to live my young, wild and free life. No barrier. No stop. Nothing but me and my life.

School isn't for me too. I know the world better than the world may know itself. And its history. And one, in particular, caught my eye.

One thousand years ago, war and bullying raged constantly depraving the earth from peace. Humans wasn't as populated as today. They were just a bunch. And there was mainly, Were Wolf. Humanoid wolf characterized for its strength, speed and excessive need of food. There were many of these things as many trees at that time. But then, they died.

Historically speaking, they died by a divinity. But I don't know why. I did make my research. It didn't work. Either someone changed what really happened in the history book or, they really died by a divinity.

Either way, the Were Wolf did die. They did perish. And I didn't know that I was linked to that history..

Until that.. A psychopath sent to kill me. But I was stronger than him. I easily got rid of his face. And that was the start of everything.

My little home was gone. Juino was gone. I was alone. Then, a woman appeared dressed in black. Checking on me. She offered me a card and then, disappeared.

An address was written on the card, so, I went there. Couldn't wait. I hate suspense.

"You've got a pretty name. I like it. Selena. I once met a Selena in my life. But alas, the price to meet her was high and I lost my treasure. Sorry, we just met and I'm already bringing up the past. Next to me is your dear dog, Juino. I'm sure you recognise his smell. Its pretty unique, afterall. Anyway, I welcome you on this sacred site. This is where the last Were Wolf lived. She, was clustered in here for years before giving out her life. Sad, right? I heard you were into were wolf. I heard you looked into history and found nothing. I can help you with that.. But I would understand if you declined. That's why I got your house gone. And kidnapped that smelly thing. So, I know I talk a lot but, do you have any question?" Asked a woman.

"Who are you and what do you want from me?" Said Selena worried for Juino.

"Is that it? Wow. She SO doesn't care about me. I am Someone you will never be able to fathom. And I want you. Does that help you in your decision?" The woman asked Selena with a knife in her hand.

"Just let him go. I'll be yours after that..." Said Selena troubled.

"YOU are ALREADY mine. You just don't know that yet. Do not worry about that. Soon, you will come to understand everything." Said the woman confident.

Once Juino is safe, maybe I can...

"Won't work. You are strong to take on a psychopath. You are not strong enough to take me on. Be careful. I don't offer pity. So, be really careful. Now, let's go. I'm busy tomorrow. This night will be one of the rare night I will be free. Don't make me waste it.." Said the woman as she releases Juino.

"Okay... Juino, I'm sorry you must undergo that. Here's some money for you. Please, take care. If I can come back, I will find you. Bye, Juino" Said Selena as she hugged Juino.

"Good. Better. Best. I'm doing alright I think..." Spoke a guy as he just appeared out of nowhere.

"Teo, why are you here?" Asked the woman.

"Madam Luna, your daughter ran away again. But we have an excuse. We did as you said. Blocked her on the last floor of Peak Tower. Guarded by highly wanted mercenaries. I, even, helped. But. She called me a few minutes ago saying, Freedom. I'm sorry. We lost her." Said Teo fearing his boss' wrath.

Luna. Her name's Luna.

"I see. Selena, change of plans. You will be accompanied by Teo to my apartment. Make yourself comfy there. Teo, I will go fetch my daughter. Take care of Selena. And if she tries anything funny, you can break one of her arms. I don't mind." Said Luna coldless.

Or I better let her cool off. Does her daughter run away that frequently? And she doesn't seem old enough to get a baby? Weird...

"Madame Luna is indeed young. It is her curse. And regarding her daughter, it isn't really hers. Now, you better keep in mind. You are not in any position to ask question. I told you that to help. Don't mention her past nor her daughter. And if she talks about it, just dodge the conversation. For your own safety, don't anger her.." Said Teo caring for Selena.

Why is he good with me?

"Because, you are OUR---No! I am sorry. I already said too much. Please get in, now. Make yourself at home. I'll be in front of the door guarding. If you need me, just call.." Replied Teo to Selena's thoughts.

He can READ my mind. What's happening?? Its the same as Luna. She too could read my thoughts. Who are they? And what am I to them?

But suddenly, a thin girl appeared from the toilet. Leaving behind her a flushing sound, she appeared and said.

"Taking a shit after jumping off the highest tower calms a person's mind. Believe me. So, you are the famous Soulmate.. Hello, I'm Faith. Your Chosen One..."

HUHH????? Soulmate, who?? Me??!!

A few minutes later....

"You punk!! I told you to be careful. You killed a Mafia boss' son and you still think you can go out as you want. I'm busy enough with the business. I can't concentrate if I learn you will cause another bloodbath. The other times were difficult already. Can't you stay idle and wait for me to find your soulmate? Do you even need to kill for that?" Said a mad Luna.

"Calm down. I found her. Now, I'll really stay put. I swear.." Said Faith with an amused face.

"Can someone explain--" Asked Selena.

"Not now. I'm in the middle of a pain in the *ss problem. Go sleep.. My daughter and I need to talk.." Said Selena.

Suuuuuuure.... These two have some serious family problem. And I wanna know why am I in it? What's the deal with the soulmate thing anyway? Ahhh...., I'm so tired..

Night fell and Selena was put in a guest room. Unable to sleep. She kept thinking about Faith and Luna. She kept thinking about Teo. What are they hiding? What do they know? Is it regarding my strength?

Maybe its because I'm more special than normal human. I don't remember my origin, but I remember my school days. When I nearly killed a teacher. Which led to many other problems. That's one of the reasons I stopped going to school. Juino explained to me why being different couldn't always mean good. And I decided at that time to live by myself. To live a lonely life. But then, they intruded my life. They weren't scared of me. They even accepted me. But I wonder why.

"That's because PEOPLE like us can't be understood. You can try all you want. Being different is a curse. At least, that's one way of seeing it. Personally, because I am different. I am more prone to accept difference. And you are everything I like. Can I sleep by you, please? It feels weird to stay far from my Chosen Love??" Said Faith already lying by Selena.

"Normally, one would ask then do. But you went and did before asking. What's the point? Anyway, just don't touch me. Can you tell me my role here? What's going on?" Asked Selena facing Faith.

"Your eyes are red, just like my mother. Its really pretty. Compared to you, I'm a flat looking girl with no traits or whatsoever. I wonder how you will fall for me. Don't worry, mother will explain everything tomorrow. She took one more holiday from work. Rejoice, Sel." Said Faith while caressing Selena's cheeks.

"Sel? And don't touch me." Said Selena to shut down Faith.

"Okay...Then, how about that??" Said Faith as she jumps on Selena blocking her movement.

"What?!! Get off!?! Why can't I push you off!??" Screamed Selena fighting off Faith off of her.

"Useless. Mother must have told you. You are strong to fight off psychopath. But against us, you are just like a Stick. So now, I will tell my link to you. Because I know how much you've been harassing us for information. You think too much for someone who knows shit. I like that part of you. Listen now. I am Faith. A WERE WOLF. An existence lost in the books, but that actually still exists. I am what was considered in the Era of Were Wolf, an Alpha. And you are my Alpha Soulmate. We are one. Well, we will be one. You still haven't awoken. But you will soon do. Now, satisfied with my explanation?" Asked Faith on top of Selena.

"You...are joking? Right!??" Asked Selena fearing the worse.

Then suddenly, Faith started to grow hair all over her body. Fangs in her mouth. A real monstrosity in human standards.

"I never lie. Have some faith in me. I'm on your side. Won't you?" Said Faith.

"Okay... So, I am a were wolf. And I am your Soulmate. Is perhaps the soulmate thing liked to the tragedy of the past? Because you all seem to care a lot about whom I will love. And why does the books say that you--WE all died that day? What's going on?" Asked a calm Selena .

I really am different. I am not a human. That explains my inaptitude to live with them. That explains a lot of things. But its weird. The book says that we need excess of food. Why don't I crave for it then?? Anyway, enough question. Let's just sleep and tomorrow, I'll finally have my answers to my question.

The next day...

"What happened, Teo? You look nervous.." Asked Luna sternly.

"Because...You are mad, Madam Luna. Tell me what I--" Said Teo.

"AND why do you think I am mad, TEO??!" Asked Luna more sternly.

"That's because your daughter ran away again...and with her soulmate. Do you want me to go fin---" Said Teo.

"Teo, just come drink some tea. I am so tired of them. I'm not that young, despite my looks. And you too, but you do look old. Just drink with me. Okay?" Asked Luna.

"Oka----" Said Teo when.

"OF COURSE, GO LOOK FOR THEM!!! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING!????!!!" Screamed Luna to Teo.

And far from the apartment, in a shopping hall. Searching for all and nothing.

"Ahh, my mother is mad. My ears keep tickling. Anyway, let's go to KFC, then, a cinema. Good?" Asked Luna.

"Good." Replied Selena.

That morning, I woke up with her in my arms. The monster she showed me yesterday was terrifying, but I couldn't stop thinking about it. About how much she went through to be able to do this. And how much in distress was she to trust me? That girl caught me, like no one did before. And when we woke up, she wanted new clothes for me. Apparently, I look too much like a man. I just find dress stupid. Anyway, we are at the shopping mall. A place, I, for a long time, stopped going to. How come she's so one with her origin? How does she do to be free from her own conscience?

"I couldn't. Normally, I couldn't. I would always create problem wherever I would go. That's why Luna keeps me in check. To be honest, its the first time I'm out and enjoying my day. Because normally, I couldn't. But, you found me. And I was quite excited to finally meet you. The one who would take my heart. Selena. Yesterday night was a way for me to test you. I wanted to know your convictions. And I guessed right. You are strong. You are a survivor. You know what's best for you and the human. I admire that part of you. So, I brought you here. You calm my mind, and I make you feel comfortable. Now tell me, your story.." Said Faith while sippng her coke.

"Okay...[Breathes in and out]....My past is something I always neglected. I always made sure to forget it. I made sure to put it somewhere no one would find it. But its unecessary in front of you. You were gonna fine out anyway.... I am Selena Black. The child of a Were Wolf and a human. My mother's name is Sirius Black. And my father's a criminal. They both died already. And when I was left all alone, Juino found me and took care of me since. And because of my difference, I automatically shut myself down. I was afraid of causing more unwanted results. That was my life before you..." Said Selena teary of her sudden confession to someone.

"Thank you for being like this to me. I accept you, your past and your future. But hey...., I didn't know you knew Juino Cesent." Said Faith curious.

"What? You know, Juino. How??" Asked Selena.

"He's Mother's Personal Guard. Its rare for me to meet him, but you are really lucky he took care of you..." Said Faith careless of her own sudden truth reveal.

Juino is with Luna?? Then, THAT time was just a sketch. How much of what he did for me is real? Who is he? I feel like I was a pawn being used. Fuck!!! Is Faith a part of it, No!! I believe in her. It seems like Luna owes us some explanation?

"Atchoum!! Looks like someone is talking about me.. Anyway, Juino, how are you? I'm sorry I called you over so early in the morning. I need you to find me these two. They ran away. I'm afraid they are going to cause---" Said Luna as she cruches into her toast.

"Okay. Consider it done, Madam Luna." Replied Juino.

"Good! You are just too good for this job. YOU are the best, afterall. You can go no--" Said Luna as she crunches more into her toast.

"Yes." Replied Juino.

That guy keeps cutting me off. At least, he does his job well. Now, I just have to wait....[Sneezes]...I just have to wait..

It has been so long since I last slept. So long since I took time for myself. So long I forgot the meaning of love... I still remember that day. One thousand years ago, I lost my treasure. My one and only. My Hathe. That day which was supposed to be a big step for us switched into nightmare because of a mistake. My mistake. The history book is legit. It was a divinity that killed us. Because I....Because I wished for worse... My Hathe died because I wished for worse. But soon, everything will be back as it was before. I will pay back the divinity who took my Hathe and she will be back. I just need the sacrifice of True Loves. Once this is done, I will be able to see MY True Love. I just need to wait a little longer. Just a little longer...

And far from there, Faith and Selena arrived before a lake. Lost and tired of running.

"Sel!! Stop for a second.. What happened? Why are you like that?? Talk to me..." Asked Faith panting.

"WE were kept in check. They knew who we were before ourselves. And they plan on doing something. Luna plans on doing something. What did she tell you?" Said Selena.

"Nothing, but unecessary talking. Look! I did know Juino. He's very close to Luna. I understand you are more wary than ever right now. But I want you to know that I am with you. I believe in Luna. And I know she wants the best for us. Now, stop running off and come with me. Let's return back to Luna. I'm sure she had good reasons to do this..Okay?" Said Faith while hugging Selena.

"I hope so.." Replied Selena worried of the worse.

THUS, finally, the conclusion of a thousand year plan. Will Luna's plan become a reality or will Faith and Selena survive? And will Hathe revive as Luna intended? My only answer is...
