Alpha Lake observed Audrey as they went down to the dungeon. He didn't quite understand her countenance that morning.
From the moment she saw him, she'd been acting weird, as if there was something she didn't want to tell him; he had thought she was feeling shy from what they did to each other yesterday, but he came to understand that it wasn't the case.
He became worried when he saw that she was even trying her best to limit their eye and body contact.
"Kitten?" Alpha Lake suddenly calls and draws Audrey into his arms as they reach the dungeon gate.
"You're doing it again," He whispered and gently placed his palm beside her face to return her eyes to his as he saw her trying to look away from him again.
"Did I do something wrong?" Alpha Lake asked sincerely.
Audrey sighed and bit her lips, slowly shaking her head at him. She couldn't tell him for his safety; she could live with him hating her for a while, but she couldn't live if he died.
