Lake was staring at Audrey with serious eyes.
Audrey slowly took a step back, "I'm sure you didn't mean what you just said, ah! I see what you're doing, you want to test me if I'm professional enough to do business with you. Don't worry, I don't have eyes for you, how about we talk about the business after lunch, please, come have a sit," Audrey replied in a hurry, she couldn't act as if she took his words seriously, it would be bringing problems for herself.
Why did he even ask her that? It was obvious he felt nothing for her, or, was his instinct telling him to claim her?
