Harry Potter has lived a life of more than a century. In his life, he had seen it all- Pain, Betrayal, Wealth, Power. Even so he feels something hollow inside himself. Using all the accumulated knowledge, he devises a ritual to travel back... back to his Hogwarts' days. Watch how the wizarding world changes when Harry Potter makes a return from his future. NOTE- Hogwarts, in this fic, start when children turn 15 years of age which means that by the end of third year students are 18 years of age. All the characters featuring in the adult scenes are 18+. NOTE- This is my original fanfiction. It is neither stolen nor translated. I am writing it myself without any help of Artificial Intelligence.

Hedwig's Tale

Harry climbed the stairs and arrived inside his small room.

The room as expected was dimly lit and dirty. A thin layer of dust had settled around everywhere. A wave of nostalgia filled his mind as he gazed at the old broken wooden bed. The small tool next to the bed and the slightly cracked window glass.

Few extra boxes, most probably carrying Dudley's toys were placed here and there in the room.

It seemed other than to take or keep things, no one had entered the room since he had left last year.

Harry walked near the windows and slid it open. A wave of air assaulted his face and not even a second later, a pure white owl entered through the window with a loud hoot.

"Hedwig," said Harry with a slightly emotional tone.

The owl hooted in response and with a flap of her wings landed on Harry's shoulder. The looked at Harry in confusion as if sensing the changes within Harry.

Hedwig was one of those rare selfless friends, Harry had had in his life. She had been a constant support in his life, even in his lowest of phase.

In his previous life Hedwig had died taking a killing curse meant for Harry while he was being shifted from this house, the night before he turned 17.

Hedwig's loss had been an incredible blow to Harry. He could not even mourn properly as he had been embroiled in the war against Voldemort.

It was few days later after the battle of Hogwarts. Hedwig in a miraculous feat had returned back.

Hr had been taking a break and was somewhere in isolated place to avoid all the fanfare of him killing Voldemort. A loud hoot had startled him snapping him out of his sleep.

Her sudden appearance had pleasantly shocked Harry.

Harry learned thereafter that she was no ordinary magical owl. She was a miracle in herself.

After her return, she was the only constant companion Harry had. Even when he found himself lost in grief, she was the one who would hoot and cheer him up.

But sadly everything comes to an end. Though, Hedwig lived longer than any magical owl, she ultimately died. It was another blow for Harry.

For months, he had hoped that she would in another miraculous feat return back. But not this time.

Her loss plunged Harry into another period of grief. When he overcame it, he got frantic about his magical research.

The insane idea of sending his soul back in time which had been budding in his heart fully blossomed and he dedicated years to devise the method.

A loud hoot from Hedwig brought out Harry from his past memories. He felt slightly emotional seeing Hedwig again. He turned and smiled at the owl who looked at him in confusion.

"Hedwig," said Harry. "You never change."

The intelligent owl hooted loudly, whether in denial or agreement only she knew.

Harry chuckled in response.

"Soon, you will be born new, Hedwig. You will be what you should be," smiled Harry.

"And this time you will be with me forever," he added with a smile.

The owl looked at Harry in confusion and if her expression could be seen, she would definitely be frowning.

She tilted her head and nibbed at Harry's neck, making Harry realise that she did not understand his idiotic words.

After playing around for some more time with Hedwig, Harry turned serious.

"Hopefully this works, otherwise, I will have to steal the hallows," muttered Harry under his breath.

With this he closed his eyes and tried to feel a faint connection with the Hallows.

In few moments, a wave of magic pulsated from his body and three objects appeared around his body enclosing him inside a circle.

The first was the Invisibility cloak which had been in his trunk. The second was the elder wand which had been with Dumbledore. And finally, the resurrection stone, which had been embedded in the Gaunt's ring, a horcrux of Voldemort. (Only the stone had come to Harry, the ring without the stone is still in its own position.)

Harry's face grinned into a wide smile and he further concentrated his magic. The next moment, the three Hallows gave a magical pulse and with a tearing sound entered into Harry's body.

Harry felt the connection with the three Hallows being complete and he grinned.

Harry had been able to summon the deathly Hallows not because he had brought some kind of connection with him from the future. He was able to do it because of two or maybe three reasons.

Firstly, Potters were descendants of the Peverell, the original owners of the three Hallows. It gave him a faint connection with the hallows. But this was definitely not enough as there would have been hundreds of descendants of Peverell over various families.

Secondly, he already had a deathly hallow, the cloak. This gave him a faint connection to the three hallows. But even so this was not enough as generations of Potter had held the cloak.

The most important thing was that Harry had wielded the hallows in his previous life. He knew how the hallows worked and thus it was not too difficult for him to use these faint connections to form the bond with the hallows.

After all in his previous life, the hallows had chosen him, even after he had broken and thrown away the elder wand.

With a smile, Harry stretched his hands and felt the invariable power coursing through his body.
