After everyone had eaten, the empty plates were replaced with ones containing various desserts and drinks, allowing the sugar-addicted children to indulge their tastes.
Astreo ignored the angry looks his mother gave him from the teachers' table; he'd leave those problems to his future self, but now that he was eating desserts, he decided to pay attention to his classmates.
For example, he noticed who his roommates might be for the next 7 years if the Voldemort mess was resolved by then and no one here died.
There were the classic Anthony Goldstein, Terry Boot, and Michael Corner, guys nobody knew or paid much attention to unless you read about them in some fanfic, so it was interesting for Astreo to find out what they would be like in real life.
On the other hand, there were the girls, but other than a glance, he overlooked them. What do you expect? He was only 11 years old and his hormones were starting to kick in, it would take at least 2 more years to go from just looking at a woman's face to other more important areas, like her thighs.
Pushing those stupid ideas out of his head, Astreo grabbed a couple of chocolate chip cookies and walked over to the trio of guys talking amongst themselves about things that had happened at the selection.
"Do you think I could buy him one of those mechanical animals?" asked Terry Boot, who was eating a small cream cake.
"I don't know, but they look cool, don't they? Although I'd prefer a Mecha," said Michael Corner, who was the first to think of the possibilities of such a realistic action figure from the weird cartoons his father liked.
"What's a Mecha?" asked Anthony Goldstein, who one could sense was a pure wizard, or at least a noble wizard, with relatives in the United States.
"A robot that can be piloted," not knowing how to introduce himself to the conversation, Astreo simply decided to answer the boy's question, startling him.
Astreo's footsteps were indeed silent, a habit developed in his second life as an adventurer and person who traveled his world to explore it. Seeing the frightened reaction of his future classmates, even some upperclassmen, a mischievous smile appeared on our young protagonist's face.
"Hey Fred, Astreo's doing that creepy grin," a young redheaded boy touched the side of a boy almost identical to himself.
"Oh no, George, someone wants to extend his reign of terror to the school," the other young redheaded boy made exaggerated gestures, attracting the attention of those around him.
Percy, who was also nearby, just glanced toward the Ravenclaw table and met Astreo's glowing eyes, which made him shiver. He quickly looked down and concentrated on his dessert, but inside he was debating whether it was necessary to send a letter to the girl he was interested in, Penelope Clearwater.
Ron, who knew Astreo well, decided to just chuckle before continuing to eat, as long as it wasn't him who suffered from Astreo's smile, he didn't care what happened to anyone else.
Neville had the same thought, it was better that Astreo found other victims of their strange games instead of them. When you grow up with a child who loves to pick on people too much, you develop a 'better others than me' attitude.
But Harry was much wiser, or at least Luna was. She asked the chosen boy that if Astreo 'misbehaved' he should send her a letter about his behavior and she would take action.
Women are scary," Harry thought, equating his friend Luna's attitude with his mother and sister.
"Brother, you're as stealthy as a Demiguise, how do you do that?" asked Michael after he recovered from the shock.
"What's a robot?" asked Anthony, not understanding what Astreo was telling him.
"Oh, walking quietly is easy, don't make any noise," Astreo replied, shaking his shoulders, causing a grimace on Michael's face, who hadn't expected such a sophisticated answer.
"A robot is an entirely mechanical technological being, the advanced version of automatons and the Muggle equivalent of golems," Astreo replied to the blond boy, causing him to nod.
"Muggles are interesting, they have a lot of magical stuff but no magic," said Terry, someone we could call a 'half-blood', just like Michael.
"What do you mean?" asked Anthony with interest.
"Well, I've heard that Muggles have machines that can sink deep into the sea," Terry replied after thinking for a while.
"We wizards have ships that already do that, nothing special," a second-year girl replied with disdain, which Astreo simply decided to ignore, it had no relevance to him.
The girl's tone made Terry cringe, something Astreo didn't like very much, he didn't like it when people were just so mean and used their words to dampen the spirits of others.
He was a teasing and annoying type, but he would never use his words to mock others, or in this case, use such an annoying tone that even he felt uncomfortable, so he looked at the girl.
Perhaps because it was night, Astreo's innate magic felt much more active than usual. Everyone watching curiously could see that the boy's eyes began to emit a soft silver light.
This was Mercury's blessing on Astreo, all because he was born under the influence of this particular planet, and for him, it was the best choice of all. Mercury allows those under its influence to be quick-witted, and full of mental prowess.
"The 'Muggles' are much cooler than you might think. Without magic like us wizards, they can do things that we cannot," Astreo said, his voice was low, but to his annoyance, his magic had amplified his voice so that the others could hear him.
That child," Dumbledore thought as he felt Astreo's magic dancing around the young man due to his agitated emotions.
A certain teacher and his brain parasite were intrigued as well, but Voldemort was so obsessed with what he could find at Hogwarts at the moment that he didn't care.
Quirrell, well, it wasn't like he had the mind to conspire against a child when he had to make sure he didn't drop dead before fulfilling his master's task, so he just watched the show like the other teachers.
"Aurora, you seem to have a very energetic son," Filius Flitwick, Head of Ravenclaw and Master of Charms, said to Teacher Sinistra.
"Yes, too restless, he seems to be entering that rebellious stage," the woman muttered, thinking of what flip-flop she could use to punish her son in the future.
"He will grow out of it, and if you can find him a hobby, all the better. Although those mechanical creations of his look amazing, I'd even like to ask him for one," the head of Hufflepuff House, Pomona Sprout, spoke up.
"A talented boy," Minerva McGonagall said without much encouragement, although she secretly wanted to ask Astreo for a personal snitch in the future.
"I hope he at least has a talent for potions and not this mechanical nonsense," Snape said with his usual poker face as if the world owed him a lot, perhaps he had that in mind.
After seeing that Lily's son had joined the house he was head of, he felt a little more cheerful than usual, but he didn't show it. Even though he knew about Lily's oath, he could at least try to repair their relationship through her son, couldn't he?
"Like what? They just don't have magic and they're barbarians," the second-year girl, a little intimidated by Astreo's words, said those rude words with a little shyness in her voice.
"Oh, let me see, I thought it was news in the magical world, but the Muggles you consider savages can destroy the world with the push of a few buttons, did you know that?" with a grin that showed his teeth like a predator, Astreo approached the girl.
He noticed another girl with Asian features next to her, who also seemed to be a sophomore, so he guessed that the two were Cho Chang and Marietta Edgecombe, characters he didn't care about from the original story, except that one of them was a girlfriend of the 'Vengeance' boy in the future.
"By the way, you offended a lot of the young people present with your comment, you should have had points taken away for that, but I'm not a teacher. Anyway, the Muggles you despise have created machines that allow them to explore the oceans, something we don't do.
Machines that allow them to fly at speeds and distances a broom could never reach. And while we have Floo Powder, Muggles have machines that can take them off the planet.
Not only have Muggles left our world, they have seen close-up pictures of other planets, did you know that Venus is hell? No, you just stuck your butt in your contempt without looking any further.
Muggles have made it to the moon, not just once, and not just one country has done it. Robots, and Muggle machines, have been left on the moon and even returned with samples. Right now, the man-made object that has traveled the farthest in space was made by Muggles.
So tell me, why do you despise them?" The young red-haired girl was already blushing, not only because of the embarrassment caused by Astreo's words but also because Astreo had pressured the girl with his magical power.
It was nothing serious or fantastic, he just wanted to make her feel uncomfortable, sometimes people don't know which boundaries to cross and which not, so it's better to make them clear.
Also, when he recognized Marieta, he thought of those girls in the original story who teased Luna, stole her shoes, played pranks on her, etc. It wasn't very explicit who they were, but probably someone as annoying as Marieta was in that group.
Sure, this was more of a fanfic trope than anything real, but just in case, Astreo just wanted to make a strong impression on his companions. Hiding and diminishing his brilliance like many fanfic protagonists? That wasn't his style.
He might not have the maturity of a 120-year-old like in his second life, or the series of social beatings of his first life, but he had learned from those experiences and his current way of being had been shaped by those experiences.
If someone wanted trouble, he would get it. If someone bullied him, he would get his answer. He was going to be the best student at Hogwarts, he was going to be the most outstanding wizard for decades to come.
Then, not caring about the 'consequences' of revealing too much of his power, his eyes glowed even brighter, and it wasn't just a saying, his magical power made his eyes radiate light.
"Marieta Edgecombe," Astreo's voice echoed throughout Hogwarts, even the elves in the kitchens, a certain thousand-year-old snake, and the intelligent creatures of the Forbidden Forest heard his voice.
Dumbledore rose urgently, he didn't know what the Sinistra boy was going to do, but it would not be good if he attacked young Edgecombe in a fit of rage, children were very unreasonable, especially magical children.
"Now let me use astrology to see what the stars and planets have in store for you," Astreo said, using his innate magic for the first time.
He had not seen the need to give his best, with just a little he could already pry into things that circumvented possible future paths or past visions, besides, using his full power came with special effects as it did now.
The atmosphere took on an ethereal tone, and many young people, especially the newcomers, felt that for the first time, they had seen something truly 'magical'. Astreo's friends, on the other hand, were amazed to see that their friend was 'serious' for the first time.
"If you continue with your current tendencies, you will make mistakes that will slowly ruin your life, but one of them, the most serious one, the one that may endanger other lives, will scar your face.
If you do not want the weight of your bad deeds to fall upon you, improve your manners, and seek personal redemption and sublimation. Otherwise, you'll be messing with someone you shouldn't be messing with, and you'll fail." Well, the Astreo show will enable a certain bug reporter to buy a rather expensive unicorn skin handbag in the future.

AN: Soon, next Monday the 19th, I will start my university. I hadn't uploaded any chapters in this fanfic or the others because I was mentally preparing not only some ideas, but also how to organize myself in my new semester.
Astreo will be a high profile guy, not a scary reincarnated guy, if you don't like him I would understand, but give him a chance. Everything that happens in these chapters is a foundation for future plots, including Voldemort's inaction when he sees a "prominent" boy.
On the other hand, they also show a bit of the real feelings of many pure wizards towards Muggles, even though the heroic deeds of non-magical people are known, many live in denial.
I don't hate Marieta, but besides, who knows if she was one of those who annoyed Luna, I don't know, but Astreo had to flex his magic a bit, right? His action is also a key point for the future of this world.
