1.The Beginning

Age 1980,January 3rd, Hogs Head Inn,

In the corner table in the crowded in two people sitting opposite to each other across the table. One was a tall and thin old man, with silver hair and long beard that could be tucked into his belt, very long and crooked nose as if it was broken atleast twice with moon spectacles in his eyes. While the other is a thin lady draped in shawl with absurdly large glasses. These two are none other than the reputed headmaster of Hogwarts and Sybil Trwlaney, the descendant of famous seer Cassandra Trewlaney. Dumbledore didn't seem very enthusiastic about meeting her and he's waiting to refuse other party politely. Albeit, he still gave her a chance,

"Would you mind predicting something for me?"-Albus

Train of thoughts ran furiously in mind of Sybil and she's extremely nervous but suddenly her mind went blank and she entered a trance state. Dumbledore noticed the anomaly and he was quite curious now.

"What do I have here perhaps another seer like my old friend? Did I heard wrong about her" -Albus

"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives... the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies...."- Sybil finished the prophecy in trance.

Dumbledore's eyes were incredible as if he heard something miraculous, at the same time hooded man who was initially not paying attention in nearest front table almost spewed the wine in his mouth after eavesdropping at the first half of prophecy. The hooded man suddenly moved swiftly without making any sounds after he heard such vital information halfway through without waiting to hear the rest as Sybil suddenly paused befor continuing rest of prophecy. Even Albus isn't aware that someone shouldn't be hearing this actually heard it as he was immersed in prophecy.

After recovering from shock, numerous possibilities ran in the mind of Dumbledore , who exactly are alive that defied Voldemort thrice. As far as he knew Potters and Longbottoms so far defied Voldemort twice but none else alive other than Albus himself who defied Voldemort many times.

Dumbledore came into conclusion that the child with power to vanquish Voldemort might born into Potters or Longbottoms. He must wait to see.

While Albus immersed in thoughts, he felt a gaze staring at him stupidly. Then , he realized that he has been neglecting Sybil who just recovered from trance. No matter what Voldemort mustn't know about prophecy and to make sure it never reaches the dark lord's ear he must keep Sybil in his eyes. Then he decided to recruit Sybil into Hogwarts as Professor for divination.

"Congratulations, Miss Trewlaney you meet our requirements for professor of divination of Hogwarts. It's best for you move on as soon as possible " -Albus

1980, May, in a small muggle village attacked by Death eaters, giants and werewolves, order of phoenix and aurors have arrived and fighting the evil minions of the dark lord. So far, it seems situation turns in favor of the innocents after arrival of aurors and order of phoenix. At the same time , aurors evacuating the remaining muggles in village at rapid pace. They have succeeded in evacuation but now the hard part comes as ministry should replace their memories for good. All of a sudden , they all felt deep anxiety, now an auror fell harder and the green light reflected in his eyes. The dark lord has arrived.

Situation suddenly seems rather grim for the good side. Realizing the sudden apocalyptic change , aurors and order of phoenix reached common conclusion that they must flee for good in the absence of Dumbledore. And all started to disapparate, Dark lord's eye fell on young man with rounded glasses and messy hair James Potter , dark lord remembers his old resentment with Potters as they have defied him twice already(strictly speaking James twice, Lily thrice defied ) and yet alive, this is a stain in the life of Dark lord and he can no longer allow Potters to mess up his plans. But when Voldemort on thoughts about to rise his wand .Suddenly a voice came

"Expelliarmus"

Then Voldemort who failed to see the other person nearest to Potter now recognized the best friend of James, Sirius Black the traitor of The noble and pure Black family. Even if Dark lord was in a daze he's not called dark lord for nothing his reflexes involuntarily created shield to bounce off expelliarmus.

As soon as he blocked he faced another spell this time from James. But despite focusing on James his attention was somewhere as Dumbledore has just arrived, due to this Dark Lord let his wand knocked off by James. Now is not the time to resort vengeance with Potters thus the dark lord summoned his wand quick and disappeared into mist in the air and the spell from Dumbledore attacked nothing but air.

With Dumbledore's aid the two survived and successfully defied the dark lord.

Gaunts are the last known remnants of Salazar Slytherin lived in history. Gaunts were descended from female line of Salazar Slytherin. Tom Marvelo Riddle was born with the blood of Gaunts to Merope Gaunt. Voldemort always believed himself as the last heir with fall of remnant Gaunts and he took pride in it . But later certain news made him gloomy which he didn't want to hear. He came to know that the male direct line of Salazar Slytherin is still alive but remains mysterious all on their own. This news was brought to him by Rodolphus Lestrange . He can't be the sole heir of Slytherin if true line still exist , thus he must massacre anyone who dare claim to have Slytherin's blood or being a parseltongue. So far , Dark Lord fought thrice against these hateful descendants and yet he wasn't able to kill them all at once. Dark lord personally went to deal with these descendants and even kept utmost secrecy from his followers as he was afraid that they might change side of the pure blood line is still alive. Even after being defied thrice, dark lord still at large as he claimed the lives of the two eldest children of the current head and managed to kill the brothers of the current head of Slytherin along with their children. Now only the head of Slytherin, his wife and the twin born male children which were born at 11.59 pm on 31st July 1980.

1st April 1981, black castle with abandoned desolate lands all over in America. The last survivors of true line hid in this castle to avoid active persecution from Voldemort. Worries are hell apparent in the face of Casimir Slytherin and Elena Slytherin. Now they should make a gamble otherwise none of the children will survive . They planned to send their first born twin Elric Salvado Slytherin to their most loyal vassal house Romaine with their house elf. After sending the child both of them are too tired to persist on living . They left their memories in penisive which also transported to Manor of Romaine for the child who will grow int the last true heir to realize his nemesis and bloodline . Now as night approached , shielding spells of castle were broken and they knew the sword of Damocles about to fall. Dark lord has arrived to cut all the roots remaining to challenge his sole authority of being the heir. In their last moment both Slytherin couple decided to fight to death as soon as Voldemort entered into castle door by breaking it into pieces with Bombarda Maxima, the couple launched Avada kedavra without giving intruder a moment to speak . Voldemort is a battle veteran now , he evaded the spell on time and he knew that his enemies aren't regular aurors but well accomplished dark wizards with lineage of Salazar Slytherin . The duel is going on for thirty minutes and it seems a stalemate but however the couple seems to be getting exhausted but Voldemort is still vigorous. Naagini who was behind dark lord all the time suddenly pounced on Elena Slytherin while Casimir was shot down with sinister green light of killing curse and light faded away from his eyes and Voldemort looking excitedly at the eyes of his defeated as it's truly a sight to behold .Nagini strangled the Elena Slytherin now only the child left. Voldemort had thoughts of making these two into inferi but something surprising happened as their bodies suddenly started burning and reducing to ashes at rapid pace. He felt it was a pity that he missed new recruits for his army of inferi. Dark lord reached the cradle of the child the youngest twin Alvius Slytherin who was sleeping peacefully. As dark lord approached the cradle an elf came suddenly and tried to take away the child after realizing dark lord noticed the child. Dark lord just waved his hands curtains came and strangled the elf to death . Dark lord was wondering whether the child is dead already as no vitals were apparent but then he found that cunning couple used deceptive sorcery to hide the vitals of child while also keeping the child not awakened until the disaster passed. Voldemort knew the child is still alive , with no remorse green light left from tip of Voldemort's wand and took the child's life.
