Renjiro's Pathway

The vehicle slowed to a stop in front the family's castle and he hopped down, except the guards there was no one else, he walked towards the castle doors and one of the guards pushed the doors open and he strode inside, the maids went about their businesses bowing whenever they saw him, since he took myoko, he hadn't set his eyes on her but at the moment he wasn't completely bothered by that, for now he had a place where he could get points for his system regularly.

Lyra had a frustrated look on her face a she slid into the bathtub, she wondered why professor Ophelia always called him to her office, she suspected that professor Ophelia was taking advantage of him sexually but she couldn't prove it yet.

She jumped up in fear when she felt a hand touch her shoulder arcane circles appeared everywhere, with vines rushing out of them and binding the person who touched her, from the enclosure of vines she caught a glimpse of Melora and sighed in relief.

''how did you get in here'' lyra asked

''I had nothing to do so I snuck in long ago'' Melora replied struggling with the vines

Lyra dispelled the arcane circles and Melora dropped back into the bathtub, at that moment lyra had forgotten that she was naked and squealed in embarrassment trying to cover up her boobs and lady parts with her hand, her action sent Melora into a fitful of laughter.

''we are both girls, there is no need to be shy. You can immerse yourself then no one would see you'' Melora said and shut her eyes.

Lyra immersed herself and shut her eyes, losing herself in her thoughts till she felt her boobs beings squeezed and her eyes shot open.

''melora!! What are you doing'' she asked in a high pitch tone

''having fun, it seems like you are lacking that in your life'' Melora said and squeezed them harder, lyra squealed and jumped out of the bathtub.

Melora jumped after her and pursued her around trying to grab onto her, their giggles of delight soon filled the castle making little Isolde run into the room to join in the fun.

Renjiro sat on his bed trying and failing to get a seedling to bud properly but every time he failed, the seed sprouted and shriveled up almost immediately, he groaned in frustration and stood up plucking one of the golden fruits in his room and poured energy into it the fruit expanded and then exploded splashing it's juice everywhere, he didn't know what to expect when he did that but he decided that the effect was not too bad.

''if I find my self in a situation like the one in sunflower kingdom, maybe I can get myself out with this'' he thought nodding to himself in satisfaction, he remembered those arcane circles and tried replicating them, he concentrated trying to emulate what he had seen lyra do but to no avail.

''maybe those are too high level for me'' he said and decided to try out one of the spells he had seen the people in his class do.

'' Sakura blossoms; petals of deceit'' he chanted and a small arcane circle appeared above him, and a couple of Sakura blossoms rained down on him and the arcane circle fizzled away the petals withering away along with it.

''looks like my try out session has come to an end'' he thought to himself and left the room, heading towards the dining area.

Caelia sat in her lab sensing the energy fluctuations in the castle and she frowned in confusion, she knew the energy signature of everyone in the castle but she couldn't recognize this one, it seemed familiar and at the same time strange. She stood up and left the lab, ditching her white coat.

She tracked the energy signature and it led her to the dining, where renjiro sat munching down on a huge piece of meat, she looked around and saw no one else in the room and looked back at him in confusion, she was sure she was mistaken since she couldn't imagine that he was the source of energy.

She could also see that his energy pathways were open, she wanted to jump in joy. He was still oblivious to her presence when she rushed over to him and hugged him tightly, tears dropping from her eyes.

''oh zephyrus!! when did this happened''

''when did what happen'' renjiro asked finding it difficult to get his words out considering the fact that she was hugging him too tightly.

''your energy pathways are open, that's a miracle. Tell me, how did this happen" she enquired

''I don't know, today I found out that I could make seedlings bud and create my own arcane circles, but they don't last and I deplete my energy quickly''

''that's because you just unlocked your energy pathway and they are still too small to sustain anything, if you train harder, maybe as hard as lyra you might get better at it, considering the fact that you have our family's genes I am sure that your chances are pretty much high'' she said

''ok mom'' renjiro said letting out a small laugh, he knew that he wouldn't get better at channeling his energy no matter how much he trained, he could only get better by accumulating more points and adding them to his attribute

''I am sorry but you might be spending the rest of the night in the lab'' caelia said and walked away.

Renjiro groaned in frustration but decided to put up with it, he wolfed down on his food and dragged himself up the flight of stairs and into the room, if he was going to spend the rest of the day in the lab he might as well take a short nap before he gets summoned, he climbed the bed and darkness claimed him.
