Total Ruin

After talking things out, they understood that it was the helplessness of poverty that made things hopeless but the bond between parent and child had never truly severed. They made up and they called us back inside, we could feel that the awkwardness between them was cleared up. After dinner, we decided the sleeping arrangements.

Since it was just three bedrooms, Veronica and her kid slept in my room, Linda slept in Lydia's room with her, my nephew slept with my mom in her room and I grandly slept on my royal throne of the couch in the living room. Before everyone chose their rooms, I hid the gifts and early in the morning on Christmas, I woke up very early to set up the gifts under the tree. It was even snowing outside but luckily it was light and I had already brought the car to the parking garage. My mom was the first to wake up and she paused when she was looked at the Christmas tree but moved on to the kitchen to start making breakfast for us. Not long after, everyone else woke and when my niece saw the gifts she started jumping around with my nephew and they couldn't wait to open them up. Their moms called them back to bath and dress them up and after everyone had breakfast, i started distributing the gifts. The kids upon opening them immediately left to my room and started playing with them leaving the rest of us at the hall. I laughed at their enthusiasm and gave the rest accordingly. My mom was smiling happily and told us she would be wearing it to when the shop opened. Veronica and Linda were equally surprised and pleased with their gifts. It was only Lydia who was confused since upon opening the cute box, there was only a key fob. "Close your eyes and don't peak. Your present is outside and I'll guide you to it", I told her. Veronica and Linda were in on it so the only confused parties were mom and Lydia. We all left the apartment together and upon reaching the garage, I opened it and asked her to open her eyes. The first thing she saw was a big blue Range Rover. "Sly! Sly!! Please don't play with me because if you are, it is not funny. This has been my dream car for years and I'll smack the spark of life out of you if this is a joke", she looked straight at me saying that and it was quite scary. Luckily Linda and Veronica came to my rescue after spending their sweet time snickering. I rolled my eyes at them and told Lydia, "I'm not playing with you, press the button" pointing at the fob. After she pressed the button and the car beeped, my eardrums almost got compromised by the screech this grown woman made. She spent about half an hour just touching the car all over and sitting in it just to assert her ownership of it. Looking at them all laughing and giggling with the kids, I felt like being petty and told Lydia, "the title of the car with your name on it is in the glove compartment. Oh by the way, Veronica and Linda have been aware of it for weeks now". I exaggerated the time a little bit and as expected, they also got all the glaresand complaints from Lydia along with mom and I was spotting a wide smile. I loved every second of it. After all the excitement died down, we went back inside and had ourselves a merry Christmas.

It had been a happy couple of days with everyone home it was the 31st, New Year's eve.

I was sitting with the family at the living room watching tv when I heard the system notify me. I called up the system and I saw that the system decree had been completed.

[ OK host. The kids of the target were arrested for armed robbery with extra charges of attempted homicide and will spend over a decade behind bars. The husband was caught cheating with the target's niece and run away with the target's life savings. The house of the target which had the ground floor serving as the store front got caught in a Class K Fire which made sure that by the time the fire fighters were able to deal with it, the fire had completely burned the target's house down to the foundation and it didn't spread to any of the surrounding houses.

Because she didn't have insurance, she couldn't claim anything and was homeless.

She didn't have anybody to turn to and was now homeless and now had a sexually contracted virus which she got from her cheating eloped husband.

Everyone who worked there lost their jobs and have been black listed in the community because of their disgusting work conduct]

That made me appreciate the System so much because all I had to do was focus on my life and leave the disgusting nature of man to be dealt with by the system.

Oh then I assume that I wasn't completely untouchable and had to also mind my own actions and how I treat people.
