"You've got the wrong idea, old man. We're just friends, nothing else..." Azkar decided to change the subject.

"What happened to the crown prince that things came to this point?" Azkar asked while both of them sat on the bed.

"Where do I start? He was my first-born child. I had complete trust in him, but it's hard to say that he did everything just because he wanted the empire. As you already know, this world works on the concept of power. Without power, you can't even breathe properly. So, the motive behind only gaining the empire is not the sole reason he did everything. I had a hunch that a big wave is coming, and this will be the end of everything," Emperor Rudas said, while his face told a different story.

"Honestly, I'm not surprised that His Highness is able to guess that an upcoming war is coming, and it truly is the war that will be the end of everything on this planet. A while ago, I got the news that three world-rank powerhouses are fighting in the vampire empire. Also, what's coming next is the worst situation one could think of. I'm not the type of guy who goes everywhere saving people, so, old man, you need to defend your empire alone this time. I'll only help when the situation is going out of control," Azkar said while thinking, "I need to get my hands on every Crystal of Apocalypse because if someone has them before me, it's going to be a very big problem."

"I understand. I'll do anything to protect my empire. I just hope you help when I'm not able to do anything," Emperor Rudas said while showing a warm smile on his face.

"Fathe....r," Alena was stunned.

"Your majes.....ty," Veldora had his mouth wide open.

Both Alena and Veldora came inside the room, but upon seeing Emperor Rudas, they were beyond shocked. A person who was taking his last breath a moment ago now looked like he was in his twenties, and there was nothing that could even shake him.

"I'm glad, Father, you're okay." Seeing her father's condition changed upside down, she was happy and shed tears of happiness while hugging her father.

"You.....i...i." Princess Alena looked towards Azkar with her teary eyes. Judging by her face, she wanted to hug Azkar, but she controlled herself.

"Okay now, stop crying. What's wrong with you? Did you really decide to become a crybaby?" Azkar decided to tease her and lighten her mood so she wouldn't hug him in front of her father.

"You jerk... i.." She wanted to say something but stopped herself because her father and Veldora were staring at Azkar and her.

Later, Azkar also healed Veldora completely, but this time he just healed normally, nothing else. However, he still attracted too much attention because healing lost limbs and body parts is also not normal.

Azkar also met Head Maid Hilda, and he healed her. After that, he began to doubt if he had become a healer, but he decided not to dwell on it. Hilda was the person who took care of his house while he was away, and that was reason enough to help her.

Her white hair cascaded down, framing an icy-cold face adorned by ink-black eyes that seemed to hold emptiness itself. The pallor of her pale white skin hinted at a countenance weathered by sufferings and experience.

As she occupied the royal seat, a suffocating aura of peak Domain rank emanated from her very being, enveloping the space with undeniable regality. The air itself seemed to bow in deference to the weight of her presence.

In the throne room, the sovereign presence belonged to none other than Empress Sylvara Walker, the ruler of the illustrious and proud Dragon Empire. Her commanding stature emanated from the noble bloodline of a royal dragon, an ancestral legacy that carried the weight of many eras.
