The New Dream

For a whole month after I start having really strange dreams. I can see her face more clearly as time goes by. She is a beautiful young elf, She is wearing the same necklace I am. And now she seems to be looking for something or someone. Could it be me she is looking for? I don't know, I do know I have no way to look for her, so I don't know what to do. By the end of the month the dream changes again. I now see the elf in a forest. I don't know where it is or even when it is but I see her searching for something. I tell mom every time the dream changes, because it is beginning to drive me crazy. I feel I should be doing something but what that is I don't know. So I decide to talk to mom when she gets home from the hospital.

" Mom I need to talk to you when you have a minute." " Okay honey is everything okay, or can I change first?" Yes everything is okay, you can change. Do you want food, I made pizza."

"That sounds like a good idea, I will be right back."

while mom takes a quick shower and changes I get the pizza ready and add a soda. Once I get everything ready I sit at the table to wait.

" Okay sweety what do we need to talk about? School is going okay right? Are you sick?"

"No mom I am fine. Yes mom school is fine. What I wanted to talk to you about is my latest dream. I keep seeing a women is a small forest or park maybe, but she is not the same women from the first dream. But she is wearing this necklace. I don't know what else to say except I feel like I need to find her." Well maybe she was a friend of your mother's. Maybe your mom gave her the necklace to help find you. Maybe that is what she is trying to do in the dream." "So what can I do about it mom? Is there any possible chance of finding the wooded area she's in? Or am I crazy for even thinking it's possible to find her? Mom I feel so confused and lost." " I tell you what honey, I have three days off this weekend if you can hang on that long we will try to find that wooded area. What we can do is try driving from the hospital to the nearest area and see what we can find. Maybe the necklace will help some how." " Oh mom thank you, I love you. Thank you for believing me. All I know is if I don't do something I will go crazy." " I know honey, now let's eat I have to go back to the hospital in four hours. These split shift are going to kill me. After we eat I need a nap." " Okay mom finish eating I will run up and fix your bed." Thank you honey."
