Scarlet's POV ...

We are just done finishing our ice cream. Well, I guess this is the last time I will taste ice cream. Maybe I can eat ice cream again for a long time. I will really miss it.

"So, are you done eating your ice cream?"

"Yes, do we need to go now?"

"Actually, yes we really need to go now. They are waiting for us there."

We started to prepare to leave.

"Who are they? And where are they waiting for us? " I asked him.

"They are waiting for us in the forest near your last school."

What? I thought we were going on the other way of this city.

"What? Are you serious? The Classic Maiden?" I asked him twice to make sure of what he is telling me. I am not expecting that we will pass through my previous school.

"Yes, the forest when you first saw me. Do you remember that? When I hugged you."

I stopped him from what he is going to say. I know what happened and I am not that comfortable talking about it.

"Shh yes, I remember it."

"That forest is a way to go to our place. The place of the werewolves."

Place of the werewolves?

"It is called the Emberson Fort. If you called this city Ranchdale, you are going to call our city there as Emberson, " He continued explaining to me. So Emberson is the next place or city that I would be living in. I hope werewolves will like me there. I can't afford to have a werewolf enemy.

I am wondering what the werewolves' life looks like. How they do their lifestyle. I mean are they also waking up early in the morning? Maybe I will just see once we got there.

"Yeah whatever, but how can we go inside the forest? We need to pass to the school first. There are so many guards monitoring that school! " I freaked out. Guards, there are very strict and sometimes, they have a bad attitude.

I checked the time on my watch, and it is already 6 pm. Oh boy, guards are strict there when it comes to the evening. I am nervous about what we are going to do, we can get caught.

"Scarlet, my future wife, trust me."

I looked bad at him.

"Do not call me that. I am not yet ready to have a husband. In fact, I just turned 18 years old!" He just laughed because of what I said.

"By the way, we need to go now. I will just warn you that the guards there are very meticulous. They are good at watching, they are also guarding that forest really well."

I warned him and it just looks like it is easy for him.

"I know that do you think I am not passing to them when I went and checked you every night before?"

I was silenced because of what he said. He has a point. I think he got used to passing through the guards since he said to me that before, he was checking on me almost every night.

"That is how it is. Just trust me."

"Yeah whatever, let's go now because we are running out of time."

I have no choice, but to trust him. Besides he made a promise to my parents that he will be going to take good care of me. I can see that he will really be making it up to his promise.

We are here in front of the gate of our school. We can see the guards inside and they are using some flashlights to check the surroundings. They are really inspecting the school well. For them, it seems that many bad people will go to our school, but there are just a few people who are doing bad and crimes here at Ranchdale. Never mind because I can't blame them. They are just doing their precious jobs.

"Now, tell me, how can we pass through those?"

He smiled at me looking that he already thought of a plan.

"Come here at my back. I will give you a piggy ride."

That was not the plan I was expecting him to say.

"Why do you need to carry me? I can walk all by myself."

"Dear, it will take us a long time if we will walk or run at just a normal speed, and do you want us to pass those guards and get to our destination faster?"

"Fine," I guess I really have no choice.

He carried me and I am now riding on his back.

"I did not expect that you are this heavy."

I hit his back with my hand.

"Aww, I was just joking! Geez, chill. You are so serious." He laughed at me.

"You are offending me."

"No no no, you are not heavy, " He continued teasing me. Ugh!

"How about my two luggage?"

"Of course, I will carry them also."

Is he this strong? My two luggage is really heavy because it carries almost all of the stuff needed.

"Keep quiet already. We are now going."

I shut my mouth.

He runs really fast with me. I can't match his speed. The strong wind that causes the speed of Tyler's run really blows my hair. I am like riding a horse. I want to scream but need to shut my mouth. Is he really a werewolf or a horse?

I saw that we are just passing the guards and they are not seeing us. What is happening?

After a few minutes, we arrived at the forest, and we are now out of The Classic Maiden.

Tyler put me and my two luggage down. I saw that he was tired, and he was sweating. I am just looking at him resting. Should I help him?

"Scarlet, don't you have any handkerchief or any cloth there to wipe out my sweat? You and your heavy luggage made me really tired."

I handed him the handkerchief I have in my jacket's pocket.

"Do you have no intention of wiping it on your own? After I carried you and your things?"

Does he want me to wipe his sweat?

"Hey! It is your idea to carry us." I rolled my eyes at him.

"Fine. Give me that handkerchief." He started to wipe his own sweat. He is a big boy already. He can do that on his own.

"So, where are they? The ones you said a while ago that were waiting for us?" I am looking around, but I do not see anyone.

Tyler pushed aside the big leaves in front of us. I saw three men who are waiting for us.

They are just sitting on random big rocks. They have big and muscular bodies like Tyler. Looks like they have been waiting for us for a certain time.

"Who are they?" I whispered to Tyler.

"They are our fellow werewolves. They work for us at our house at Emberson. They are like our guards" Tyler walked towards them, and they greeted each other. They really seemed to be friends.

I went near them and smiled at them.

"Hello, Ms. Scarlet." Three of them greeted me in chorus.

"You know me?" I asked all of them.

"Of course, we have been waiting for you" One of them responded.

"Okay, enough with that. You three get her two luggage and you will go now. I and her will just follow you guys" He instructed.

I saw the three men transformed into a werewolf form like what my dad did before in my room. Oh my gosh. I can't really believe it.

"We will just wait for you there. Ms. Scarlet and Mr. Tyler ..."

What? A werewolf from talking?! This is crazy!

"You are talking?" I am shocked. I just heard Tyler laugh behind me.

"You shall go now," Tyler told them and then they started to run with my two pieces of luggage.

"Can you explain to me what that was? I did not expect that he would talk!" I asked him.

"Scarlet, you will get used to it. Besides, you are also one of us, and anytime, that form will come out from you. Let us just wait."

I can't believe that I will also be going to be like that.

I am thinking about what my color will be.

While I am imagining myself transforming into a werewolf someday, I just realized that I haven't heard from Tyler. I looked at my back and I saw a werewolf just staring at me

"T-Tyler? " l asked and then he nodded.

"Come at my back and ride me with ... I will show you the way to Emberson."

I rode at his back and then he started running. I have no idea that this is going to happen. I just thought that this is happening in movies and books. I never imagined myself being in a werewolf life. But here it is, and it is happening.
