Chapter 25 Ritual

Hadrian slowly raised his hands, gathering a large amount of energy causing the wind to pick up. Once enough amount of energy has been accumulated, he then seems about to place both of his palms against one another before throwing them violently upwards causing flames to erupt from the ground around him which startled Baghra and Kirigan as they saw Hadrian wave his hands around like painting as magic circle was drawn on the ground with the fire.

Once he finished carving the circle he looked at Kirigan and said seriously"This ritual with cleanse you from father's influence,but this would be painful.Since he is linked to you."

Kirigan nodded and took a deep breath.As Hadrian begins to cast the spell as a golden ring of runes encircles them.Hadrain swipes his hands, begins further spell adjustments as four golden rings of runes now swirl about them.As the magic circle soon glowed with power and

Kirigan clenched his fist in pain,his body turning hot,he soon screamed in pain.While Baghra who was watching this was scared for her son's safety was about to run to him,as Hadrian stopped her saying"Do not go near him,if you do the ritual would fail."

Baghra steeled herself and watched As the eyes gleam scarlet, Harry

grimaces and a flash of blinding light bursts forth,leaving in its wake a figure floating in the darkness as if he was cloaked in it.The figure soon dispersed into nothing.

As Kirigan fell on the ground with thud,he was unconscious as Baghra ran ans checked him,seeing he was okay she checked for any remnants of Ronin's dark signature was gone.Hadrian did necessary checks and the dark influence was gone.

But he didn't know at that time was Ronin already had another Link to the mortal plane and it was the Shadow Fold itself and now he is in that placing slowly gaining power to create a physical body to fight.

Kirigan taking a few potion with frown said"These things taste horrible."

Hadrian chuckled and replied"I know,but they really bring results."

Kirigan nodded he felt better already,also he slowly took the picture out of his pocket it was a drawing of Luda his wife,he had small sad smile on his face said"You know Luda would have loved to learn about these potions,she always wanted to help whether they are Grisha or non Grisha."

Hadrian had seen many of his friends pass away either due to age or disease.So he spoke up"What if you could get your wife back?"

Kirigan frowned hearing the question,but he saw Hadrian was really serious,he said"I want her back no matter the cost."

Hadrian sighed and said"I know a method to get her back,but bringing her back has price either you give up half of your lifespan or a sacrifice."

Kirigan was stumped,but with slight hope asked"You really can do that?"

Hadrian nodded,it was something Death agreed since it seems Ilya Morozova himself brought someone back to life,so it was not breaking any rules in this world.

[A/N:I am taking Bending from Avatar to be used here,I can see it working Zoya could easily Bend Air and Fire for now,Nina is a water Bender and so Blood Bending would work for her.]
