Chapter 8: Burning Bear

GR33N: In level 1, round 30 of 50, we have number 44, from Slutsk, Belarus, Vyacheslava Demidovich!

R3D: Against number 60, from Dublin, Ireland, Aodh Kelly.

GR33N: Challengers get ready, 3!

R3D: 2.

GR33N: 1!

R3D: Go...

GR33N: Go!

Surprisingly, Vyacheslava just throws her orb at Aodh. It activates and becomes a seemingly normal revolver. The revolver then turns into a bear with 2 revolvers.

Aodh: What the...

The bear begins shooting at Aodh but blocks them with his mystical futuristic gun. His gun is able to shoot balls of fire and ignites the bear. Vyacheslava throws another revolver which turns into a bigger bear with 4 guns.

Aodh: How is that even possible...

Vyacheslava: Don't care I only want to win and I'm going to win.

Aodh: You seem a little over confident for someone who hasn't done anything to push me while I've been burning away your only defense.

Aodh creates a ring of fire around the bear and rushes towards Vyacheslava. She has the bear run into the fire and summons it in front of her to protect her now even stronger with 8 guns. Burning away the bear, Aodh goes in for a blast of flames but another bigger bear appears with 16 revolvers, 2 protruding from each of its 6 arms and 4 attached to its head.

Aodh: I get t now, every time I kill the bear, it comes back bigger, stronger, and with double the amount of guns. So getting to you is the best way for me the deal with you and the bear.

A flurry of bullets pushes Aodh away. He uses his gun as a flamethrower to melt away the bullets. He slips under the bear and sets it ablaze but it seems flame-resistant now. That doesn't stop Aodh as he goes for a shot that he ends up missing. The bear pins him down and points one of its many guns at him. While Vyacheslava is distracted, a massive wall of fire erupts from behind her and covers her completely. The bear holding Aodh down disappears and Vyacheslava is knocked out giving the win to Aodh.

Aodh: It seemed like you couldn't dispel the bear on your own so once it adapted to my fire I knew you would be an easy enough opponent to beat. I had no way of really know if it could adapt to my attacks so if it didn't then I would've been screwed. Thankfully the gamble played to my favor.

GR33N: Vyacheslava is unable to battle, meaning Aodh is the winner!

R3D: The next round will begin in 30 minutes.

With all of their matches done, the boys had no other distractions from hunting down the mystery of the Guns Blazing Tournament.
