Chapter 4: {=^>/{ {*>&/^

A couple of matches pass, Gabriel and the rest of the residents of room 18 waiting for their turn as R3D announces the Challengers for round 8.

R3D: For round 8, number 54 and number 100, in 5 minutes please be in Building 3 ready to battle.

Gabriel: Still? I just want to get my match done with.

Ali: It is random, so of course you're not going to fight anytime soon.

Gabriel: I'll just go back to the room, come get me if anyone of us are going next.

Aodh: Sure, I'm staying to watch all the matches anyway.

GR33N: In level 1, round 8 of 50, we have number 54, from Benin, Nigeria, Adebiyi Obi!

R3D: Against number 100, from London, U.K., {=^>/{ {*>&/^.

GR33N: Challengers get ready, 3!

R3D: 2.

GR33N: 1!

R3D: Go...

GR33N: Go!

Adebiyi activates his gun, a really small laser gun which creates force fields around things he points it at. Number 100 doesn't even summon his orb, he uses a grappling hook attached to his hand to try and grab Adebiyi. He creates a force field around himself, deflecting the hook and jumps into the air. The hook changes directions and Adebiyi blocks it again. He's being chased down by the hook, changing directions every time Adebiyi dodges. Number 100 tangles Adebiyi in the hooks wire, the hook finally hitting him in the leg. He pulls him in and grabs him by his leg.

Adebiyi: Fine, I forfeit.

GR33N: Adebiyi is unable to battle, meaning

{=^>/{ is the winner!

Number 100: Perfect, let me take something as a little souvenir first.

He throws him in the air to then grab his eye and rip it out of his head. Adebiyi screams in pain as he rolls on the ground holding the right side of his face.

Adebiyi: Why... you already won... so why...

Number 100: Because I can, why not? It's not against the rules because we're in the main arena so no consequences.

He leaves, Adebiyi screaming and he's taken away to the infirmary in Building 1.

R3D: The next round will begin in 30 minutes.

Gabriel's sleeping in his room again, he dreams of the same man in the gray suit. Again Gabriel tries to touch the man and again fell right through him. The gray suit man grabs his hand as Gabriel is falling and starts talking to him, but Gabriel doesn't hear a single word, just to drop him back to reality.
