Micah stood next to Rufus make-shift grave with a hand covering his eyes. The other one sat comfortably in his pocket. His tears were falling, and while he was saying his final goodbye to his father, Blue stood next to him with a sorrow-filled expression.
Micah dropped his hand to his side and said with a solemn tone. "I'm leaving! I wish I could do more for you, I wish even more that you were here to see me off, but this will have to do." He bent down and placed a hand on the grave. "Bye, dad!" He said and stood back up. He wiped off his face and glanced at Blue.
"You said people can't see or hear you, right?"
"That's right, Master!" Blue answered.
"Good. I wouldn't want people knowing I'm being stalked by an angel." Micah joked. Blue's appearance itself was no joke, she said that because they are technically one and the same, he is immune to her beauty, but the same doesn't go for other beings. Seeing her could override other mortals with lust and make them try to assault her. This was not only because of her appearance but also because of her powerful aura and how pure it was.
"If I don't wish for them to see me, they won't. The same applies to you, Master. You control all aspects of light, so making yourself invisible is well within the realm of possibility for you."
Micah showed a somewhat shocked expression. "Good to know! One of the many things for me to learn. And to me, light doesn't sound as impressive as you make it out to be. Is this also one of those things where our world isn't advanced enough to know the full extent of the powers of light?" Micah never claimed to be very smart, heck, he had barely read a book in his life. He had only read what Rufus supplied. But he had never learnt anything useful outside of baking since all the books were on how to make cookies and cakes.
"A bit of that, and my powers are also more powerful and extensive than any other light-based powers will ever be. I birthed the first light in the universe. You control that light now, so the more you grow and the more you learn to control, the more you will see just how powerful light is." Blue said proudly.
"Can you give some heads-ups of what I should expect to be able to learn?" Micah asked. He wasn't happy about having to fight for this Paradise place, but to say that none of this excited him would be a lie.
"You will be able to travel very fast. When you incorporate every ounce of my power, you will be able to reach light speeds and with enough training, beyond even that. So to say that you are the fastest Concept is not a lie. Nothing can surpass your eventual speed. There is also a plethora of things you will be able to do in time. I will explain more as you discover them as it would be pointless to go through everything now."
"So I can't go light speed now?"
"No, you will need to fully grow up and possess all my power for that. Going at such speed would disintegrate your body as you are now. And without proper control, you would destroy everything you passed, including entire planets." Blue said.
"Well, we don't want that. By the way, do you know the source of my powers? I have been trying for a while now to find what I believe in most, but I can't figure out that whole faith thing." Micah was baffled by how someone's growth in power could rely on not only training, but also pure faith. Logically, it didn't make sense to him.
"Faith isn't something you consciously choose or recognize. That would be the artificially created mortal form of faith, where you pray to a God. My faith is genuinity. Be true to who you are and that is enough. As I said before, any belief is valid, you just can't force it. Be yourself and your power will grow with time."
"Hm, sounds easy enough." Micah glanced back at the grave and released a sigh. "Time to head out!" He motioned for Blue to follow, which he quickly realized was stupid since she could only be around him. Where he went, she would naturally follow. Just like he thought, Blue started hovering above the ground and float behind him as he walked.
"When we're around people, is it also possible for us to talk in any other way? Like you did before, inside my head?" Micah asked.
"Of course, Master. Telepathy should come naturally to you. That is one thing you won't need to practice. After a small exchange with me, you will be able to talk to anyone through telepathy. There are multiple perks of possessing powers of a fundamental force." Blue displayed a smirk, but her tone was stoic and cold. Again, her words did not match her expression.
"Great, then it's time we head off to Magnolia. Hopefully Fairy Tail is still there. It's been a few years since Rufus talked about that guild." Micah started jogging since he felt some urgency to arrive, but also because he knew he wouldn't tire very easily.
