Guardian Alphas

Both Gael and Adrian are alphas. Born at the same era and for the same goal. Nature wants them together but will one alpha bow to another? They will fight, love, cultivate and grow stronger together as they build a family but will they build this family together or apart? It is a story of resilience and love. We laugh as we cheer them on. It's a boy love story like never told before.

7. We Can Try

We laid there looking at the already darkened sky that had a lot of stars and each of our thoughts were fleeting in different directions. I was thinking of what Adrian said about a 'he' being his mate. Was he gay? It is not that I would mind but such a handsome man lime him... (Ahem)

For a while, we just lain there without speaking. Then he spoke out of the blue.

"So, what about you? Any girlfriend?" he asked me.

"No. No one and I also haven't found any one who I like. I guess I am yet to find my 'fated one' too," I jokingly said.

"What if you are my fated one?" He asked and that made me look at him in disbelief and I decided to answer because I saw that he was eagerly waiting for my response.

"Then I would let fate take its course. But it would be weird though. Imagine men of our status being lovers. We would have derived two ladies of husband's. That would be so unfair," I finished as I laughed. The thought itself was funny. Then I continued after laughing at my own joke. "In a gay relationship, one man has to be muscular and the other feminine. How would you tie two bulls in the same enclosure? They would fight to death," I finished and I believed my reasoning to be true.

He looked at me and smiled then said, "You are wrong. Love is love and it doesn't matter what the other person looks like. For instance, I wouldn't mind being your lover. It would be a joy to fuck and make you submit to me," he said and laughed this time. I saw a glint in his eyes and I was not sure whether it was joy or anticipation.

I supported my head with one of my hands and the elbow acted as an anchor because I wanted to see his face clearly. Then I said to him, "if we were ever to be lovers, the one getting fucked and submissive would be you," he smiled at me and didn't get angry or anything like that.

"That would also be okay. I wouldn't mind." He said and we kept quiet.

"Ansel, tell me. What do you think about being my friend?" He asked after a while.

"I don't mind. It's just that I have never had any friends and I like myself that way. I've had acquaintances and I find friendships tasking" I said.

"We can get to know more about each other and get closer with time. It's also all new to me because I've also never had any friends. So, why don't we try? Who knows, we might make best of friends," he looked at me hopefully.

"Okay, we can try," I answered then sat up.

I held out my hand to shake his as I said, "Nice to meet you Adrian, I am Gael The Alpha Hunter", I said and he also sat up and shook my hand as he said, "Nice to meet you Gael, I am Adrian The Alpha Greyson," We finished and laughed with our hands still clasped.

"Don't you think it's such a strange coincidence that we both have 'The Alpha' in our names?" He asked. "Don't you ever get curious?"

"I do and I have been asking my father about it and he always says that he will tell me when I turn twenty-two. That will be in five months' time and I am eagerly waiting. Did your parents tell you why they named you such?" I asked because I wanted to hear whether his parents were as weird as mine were.

"They did and no, I can't tell you. I would have to kill you after telling you," he said and I laughed because I thought he was joking.

"Lemme say this, I will also tell you why during your birthday, okay? I'm invited by the way, aren't I?" He asked hopefully.

"Of course you are. You are my friend now," he smiled at that and we laid down again on the blankets.

"Gael?" He called and I groaned as an answer. "Thank you for agreeing to become my friend"

"Thank you too for trying so hard," I answered and I was happy to be his friend. It was intriguing and I also wanted to experience what those with friends did. I was also eager to see what Adrian would bring to the table after running after me for almost two years.

There is nothing wrong with that. (Ah! Stop looking at me like that! I never said I won't be his friend. I just said that I don't like him and he is annoying but ... Never mind. I didn't - Now you have made me embarrassed.)
