Guardian Alphas

Both Gael and Adrian are alphas. Born at the same era and for the same goal. Nature wants them together but will one alpha bow to another? They will fight, love, cultivate and grow stronger together as they build a family but will they build this family together or apart? It is a story of resilience and love. We laugh as we cheer them on. It's a boy love story like never told before.

"Gael! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!"

That's my sister waking me up and she is jumping up and down on my bed. Tell me why I still love her?

"Brother! Father has asked you to come and take your breakfast otherwise we will be late for school!" She shouted as she continued jumping.

"Beau, I swear I will kill you. Let me get you," I said annoyed at her usual tactics that never changed every morning as I cover my head with a pillow to muffle her noise. I am not a morning person and being woken up at this time is and never will be my favourite cup of tea. I hate it. She pulls the pillow away and I swear I wish I can hate her.

"BOOOO! Catch me if you can," she stuck her tongue out at me as I looked at her imagining howI can punish her. I pretended to go for her and she ran out of my room laughing.

"Dad, can I kill Beau so that she can stop bothering me every morning?" I ask loudly and I heard Beau giggle.

"You know you love her too much to do that," dad saya and I snorted.

"Unfortunately you are right," I say as I drag my half asleep body towards the bathroom and Beau iss peeping at me from the kitchen door sticking out her tongue at l me.

Dad was right. I love her. Too much in fact. She brings light and joy in this house.

My name is Gale The Alpha Hunter. Don't ask me about 'The Alpha' in my name because I have tried asking my dad on several occasions and he usually tells me that he will tell me when the time comes. And that time, apparently, is on my twenty second birthday.

That is not far by the way. I am twenty one and it's a few months to my birthday. If I get to know you well before then, I will invite you. (Ha ha ha! I will, I promise. *ahem*)

We live in a continent called Xor, and our region is called Zar. It's a very well developed region. We have schools, hospitals, technology, skyscrapers, and anything that you can think of that comes with a developed society. In Xor, Zar is the most developed region.

I live with my dad and my little sister, Beau. We adore her because she brings joy and laughter in our lives. She is nine years younger than me. She is twelve years old this year and in grade six. She loves school and she has a lot of friends. Unlike me. I'm not an introvert per se but I like my quiet. (By the way, people say that Beau is a male name. But what did you expect when it was me and dad who named her? So, bear with it. People have learnt to.)

My mother died in child birth when she was having Beau and so, my dad and I became her parents and I can say, we did a pretty good job. She turned out alright. She is the light in this house. We love her because she is like the piece mom left of herself when she left.

I am in my final year of university and in our region, one is expected to serve in the military for one year before working in the field of their choice. I work out a lot and I am a taekwondo expert so I don't think that this will be a problem.

I am finishing my degree in Medical Engineering. I want to one day come up with a dope medical equipment that will shake the whole of Xor (grin). I'm serious though. Like if I was to come up with a medical equipment that could tell what one was suffering from just from touch, won't that be dope? Anyway, that's me. I like dreaming big because I know nothing is impossible.

Oh, sorry, I tend to speak a lot and you will forgive me in advance. I am twenty-one years old this year. I'm 7'2, pretty tall than most and I am proud of it and I work out a lot. I run every morning and go to the dojo thrice a week and I'm the best there is there but I do it for fun and I want to keep fit because I like the way girls look at me (ahem). And no, I don't have a girlfriend yet. I haven't found 'the one'. I hate these ones who run around after men and they seem to have no self-respect (sorry if you are my fan and I have offended you- bows).

That's about it. I'm sure, that's all about me.

Lemme see.. (thinking), yap. If I remember anything else I haven't told you about me, I will tell you as we go. Okay? Okay.

I love school by the way but of late I hate going there if I am going to meet that arse hole Adrian. He transferred to our university in our third year (that's last year) and he is not even in the same department as me but he keeps annoying me every chance he gets. I'm getting so annoyed at him and if it wasn't for the university's rules, I would have broken his nose by now. He is everywhere I go in school. Be it my class, the cafeteria, the library, you name it! I see him everywhere I turn with that annoying smile of his. I have tried insults, ignoring him and pretending he doesn't exist to snubbing him but the guy just doesn't give up! Whatever I do or say, he is always there with that beautiful annoying smile of his. (Did I say beautiful? Sorry, that was just a slip of the tongue. But he has.... ah, never mind)

But to speak the truth, except me, I have never seen a man more handsome. He is as tall as me (we stand head to head), he works out too and if you didn't know us, you would think we are siblings. Except for his cocky ways, I would have loved to have a friend like

him. But I can't. Don't ask me why. I just can't.

Anyway, that's a story for another day. I have to go or my father will come to drag me out of this room. I promise to continue with my story after school.

And I have to tell you, it's quite interesting. I'm pretty sure you gonna love it.

See you.
