Light

Ray blocked all Nympha's punches. He stood firmly, unwavered.

Ray: "My turn!" He started to charge towards his opponent.

Nympha: (Heh…)

Ray's attack contains deeper amount of energy. All of his punches made the entire sparring rings shakes tremendously.

Nympha: (Hmm. He shifted to offensive position, huh.)

Nympha took all the blows still unshaken.

Ray: "!!!" (She can still withstand my attack. Her defense is incredible!)

Nympha: "It's good that you are learning…but this won't do me any harm, kid." She said grinning.

Ray: *pant* (More!) *pant* (I need more power!!!)

Ray's punches became powerful and swift.

Nympha: "!!!" (What's this?! His attack suddenly change!) She stepped back.

Ray's hands emitted a strange glowing light.

Nympha: (There it is again…Is that his aura? Why is it different?)

Ray stopped his attack and glanced at his hands.

Ray: "…" His entire body started to glow. Light and energy escaped from his body.

Nympha: "Ray…how come your aura is in different color?"

Ray: "Aura?"

Nympha: "Yes, Ray. A while back, I saw your hands and eyes glowing. Now it's your entire body."

Ray: "I--I didn't notice." (Tch! What now?)

Nympha: "Well, now you do. Unless you want to look at yourself on the mirror."

Ray: "Nghnn…this…This is light, sister Nympha."

Nympha: "Light? It's my first time hearing that."

Ray: "It's some sort of a special power, sis. Isn't it great?" He's trying to find an excuse.

Nympha: "Ray. I will brush it off this time. Still a Fighter only emits a red aura."

Ray: "Yes?" (Phew!)

Nympha: Let's test this special power of yours. Let's go for a real battle." She let all her energy out.

Ray: "Wh--what?!!" Real batt--"

A massive blow hit Ray. He blocked it with his arms.

Ray: "Argh!!!" (The energy is much powerful this time!) He countered the attack with a swift kick.

Nympha: *grin* "A lousy kick." She grabbed his feet and slam Ray to the ring's arena.

Ray: "Ugh! (Sister is a beast!)

Not a single movement was waste. Another menacing attack came. Ray swiftly dodged and rolled.

Nympha: "Nice!"

Ray immediately gets back to his feet.

Nympha: "How about this…" She opened her mouth and a powerful sound came out. The sound was deafening. The vibrations were felt on the walls of the building. It was a 1st tier skill. Howling.

Ray covered both of his ears.

Ray: (My eardrums hurt.) He started to lose his consciousness. He fell on his knees.

Nympha: "I guess that's too much."

A massive light shone more brightly in Ray's body.

Nympha: (I can't see.)

The light coming from Ray ceased to shine.

Nympha: "What are you?"

A powerful attack landed on Nympha and threw her into the wall.

Nympha: (What was that? I didn't even saw it.) She spit an amount of blood.

Another blow reached Nympha. Although she managed to block it, she was thrown again by the impact.

Nympha: (This feeling is different. I need to focus.) She calmed herself.

Nympha closed her eyes. Energy surrounds her.

Another attack was unleashed. Nympha used one of her skills to withstand the attack.

Nympha: "Protection!"

A thick energy barrier appeared.

Nympha: (Guess you won't be breaking this.)

Successive attacks were thrown towards Nympha. But those attacks failed to penetrate the barrier.

Nympha: "Ray!"

Ray was attacking unconsciously.

Nympha: "Kid! Snap out of it! Wake up!"

Ray let down his fist and stood firmly. He stopped attacking. A strong whirled of energy force was unleashed from his body. The abandon building began to crumble.

Nympha: "RAY!!!" (What is this energy?)

Nympha's step became heavier.

Nympha: "KI--RAY!!! Stop this!!"

Nympha released another skill to withstand the pressure.

Nympha: "Blessing!"

She can now walk easily despite the powerful pressure. She took a little more step.

Nympha: "WAKE UP RAY!"

She shook his body but to no avail.

Nympha: "Tch! I don't want to do this…but I think it's the only way!"

Nympha clenched her fist. Two strong energy forces clashed. The entire building was instantly wipe out. Heavy thick dust filled the place. People from the 3rd District felt the massive impact from the ground. When the dust subsided, two figures stood.

Nympha: *sigh* She glanced at her surroundings. (Good thing, we're in a secluded place. Should I report this to Ms. Kara?) A cold wind runs from her spine. (I don't know anymore.)

Nympha looked at Ray who's still unconscious. She was supporting him on her shoulders.

A flash of energy gathered around Ray. The crystals on the underground city of Ambeist quaked. A pillar of light suddenly appeared. The pillar was so huge all the people from the city saw it. Just in the nick of time, all the crystal went back to normal and the pillar of light vanished.

Nympha: (What was that? I need to go back and report this. But first of all, I need to wake up this ki---) "RAY!!!"

Ray was nowhere to be found.

The strange phenomenon was caused by Ray. His power broke out from his body. When an energy leaks out, a pillar of light is created.

Right where the pillar of light vanished, a strange looking creature appeared. The creature emits a wicked aura of death. A massive tall creature with seven horns on its head. It has a fierce red eyes and a scaly thick dark skin. A loud howl was heard.

Nympha felt unease. Something is approaching her with quick speed. A dark massive claw is going to seize her.

Nympha: "Protection!" Right on time it stopped the dreadful attack.

The dark creature distance itself.

Nympha: (A vile? But it's different.)

It stood straight observing her action.

Nympha: (It might be late to call for a back-up. This monster must be annihilated!) Her knuckles appeared. An all out attack was launched.

Powerful rapid punches reached the dark creature's body. But all of these was nullified.

Nympha: (My attack didn't work.)

The dark creature stared at Nympha. Its fierce eyes menacing.

Nympha gritted her teeth.

Nympha: (Don't underestimate me!) "Come Maul!"

The ground broke. Beneath, a six-foot hammer emerged. It has five different colored crystal engraved on it.

Nympha is a descendant of the olden Aesir tribe best known for their warlike nature and ancient knowledge.

Nympha: "Let see if you can withstand this?" She gripped her hammer.

With a nano speed she disappeared from the dark creature's sight. In a split of a ceceli she appeared on top of the dark creature's head.

Nympha: "Eat this!" A massive powerful strike came on the face of the creature. The dark creature was thrown meters away but remained unscathed.

Nympha appeared on top of it's head and try to execute another attack. The dark creature launched a series of attacks making her back away. It's massive claws were deadly and potent.

Nympha's protection barrier shattered when two of it's dangerous claws almost landed on her.

Nympha: (Tch! It broke my protection.)

The dark creature opened it's huge mouth.

*KRRRRR!!!!!!!* *KRRRR!!!!!*

A loud sinister cry was heard all over the 3rd district. All of the people fainted.

Nympha: (Tch! Mental…attack…I let my guard down…) Her body fell to the ground.

The dark creature was about to attack Nympha when a shadow appeared.

*BOOM!!!*

The creature managed to avoid the explosion. A scarlet haired woman stood out.

Woman: "Kukuku…I just went out for a stroll and this happened."

The dark creature launched a successive attack but all these didn't reach her.

Woman: "It's futile…kukuku."

Fear struck the dark creature.
