An incompetent boy

"Hey trash! Don't you know you don't belong in this school ?!" A boy shouted in Jin's ear who was just quietly walking down the hallway.

Jin Silverred an eighteen-years-old boy who is prone from being bullied, just covered his ears and looked at the kid and smiled as if nothing had happened.

"What's up with your face?!" The bully Alex didn't like the way he looked so he pushed it down with excessive force which caused Jin's head to bang on the wall.

Jin's head started to bleed but he ignored the pain.

He wiped the blood dripping from his forehead and immediately stood up, even though his vision was still blurred and he lost his balance after that he still continued to walk towards their classroom.

"Haha, see! No matter what you do to him, he will never fight back." Alex brags to the friend for what it did while laughing.

Alex's father Apollo Laurence is a top 5 hunter and guildmaster of the top 3 guilds in their country and the one who's in control of the gates in the city of Nords, because of his father great achievement, no one dares to harass him even the teacher at their school. They were blinded to every move of that boy because of his father.

"Y-Yes you're right, but why?" His friend Josh asked.

Alex frowned his forehead and looked at him with a questioning looks on his face.

"Don't tell me you don't know, that boy is incompetent or in short a loser." Alex shrugged as his hand opened. "Well I think it's only natural because you just got here not too long ago."

"I-is that so! Then I think I could make him my sandbag too." Josh displayed a pretend smile infront of Alex while making his words sound so tough.

"Watch this." Alex made a fireball in his hand and when the ball formed into its perfect shape, he then threw it behind Jin causing him to fly.

"Ugh!"

'Huh? What just happened? Why am I flying? Jin thought as he flew a few tiles away and then dropped.

"Boom! Did you see that ?! Amazing right? Now it's your turn." said Alex to Josh.

"U-uhm but ... But what if he dies after I hit him? Look at how thin he is. I think even with a normal blow I can break that boy's bones." Josh asked with a look of astonishment on his face.

Alex tapped hir shoulder and whispered. "Don't worry, he's just a frail-looking guy but he's really tough or if you didn't do it, you might be the next target here on this campus."

Jin is not as tough as they say, his mother is a very good A rank healer, so even a broken bone can easily recover with just a simple cast of a spell by his mother. She always treats Jin with a worried face and also always asks him why he hurt like that, but Jin is a bad liar, he don't want her mother to worry so he always asnwer all of her question with a smile.

After hearing what Alex said, without hesitation, Josh ran to Jin and once grabbed its head and then smashed it to the floor.

"Ohhh ~ that one really hurts, I know that." Alex laughed when he saw Jin's face fall to the floor.

Although many students saw what happened to Jin, no one tried to stand in his place to save him or even help him stand on the ground. Instead of helping him they just mocked him and gossiped in front of his face.

"He really did it again, but as long as I'm not involved, it's okay."

"Well Jin is a trash so that's what he deserves."

"Why is he still here? He has no ability so it just means he doesn't belong here."

After the commotion in the hallway a teacher named Fae noticed it and immediately ran to the scene.

"What's the fuss about here again?" Fae asked the students when she arrived, but no one answered her.

She saw her student Jin lying down as his head collided on the floor with her other student Alex standing infront of them while forcing himself not to laugh.

"Hey Jin, how many times do I need to remind you not to cause trouble?" She scracthed the back of her head and asked the other student to pull him off.

As soon as his head separated from the floor his teacher scolded and blamed and even gave him a last warning.

"The next time I caught or received a report of you causing trouble to other student again, I will try my best to expell you! Understand?!" She said to her the pitiful student who's trying to stay awake just to listen to her scoldings.

Jin nodded in agreement even though he didn't quite understand what Fae said.

Jin rested for a while to regain his posture, and as soon as he came to his senses, he immediately stood up to catch up with the first topic of the day.

When he came to their classroom, he saw his teacher in front and was already teaching, he entered the second door in the back and quietly and carefully walked while facing his head and making sure that he would not cause any problem to his teacher who sincere teaching to the whole class. Yet his teacher still noticed him and at the same time shouted.

"Why are you late again Mister Silverred?!" His teacher inquired in a menacing tone. Though he knew the cause.

Jin stopped and turned at the front but his head still facing down.

"I'm sorry Mr. Moria, this will not going to happen again." Apologizing is the only way for him to avoid trouble, because if he said the real cause, he knew that the a beatings of his classmate is the only one who's waiting for him.

Morai sighed in disbilief and face-palmed.

"Just sit down there and don't let this incident happened again, okay?"

Jin's desk was the only seperated from the rest of the student, he is at the very back beside the equipment storage. They treated him like a trash and not belong to the grouped just because of not having an ability.

Moria clenched his fist and gritted his teeth. "If I had the power to expel you from this school I would have done it a long time ago." Moriah whispered to hisself.

Moria pushed back his glasses and clapped twice to get her students 'attention.

"Okay class, now that I remember, I have a big announcement for you all, this is the one we've been waiting for. Uhmm ~ guess."

Moria stopped and watched her student try to guess what the big announcement was.

Inside the quiet room of class 2, grinning Alex raised his hand.

"Yes Mr. Laurence."

Alex stood up and answered. "If I'm not mistaken, suppose this is a dungeon expedition, is that right Mr. Moria?" Alex replied confidently.

Moria showed a big smile and nodded.

"The 3rd year students are very lucky, because we will be doing an expedition to the real dungeon not the one called by the school staff."

Each gate is categorized from lowest rank to highest, based on how dangerous it is. Rank S is the highest and Rank F is the lowest. The gate that exits the school property is a Rank G so that means that dungeon is safe for the student.

They didn't include the Rank G gate because they only see that dungeon as a training ground for beginners or rookies, the guardian inside isn't that shocking compared to the Rank F gate.

Every year and every 3rd student will take the test inside the gate of Rank G, this way, the teacher can easily determine if their student has progressed or not, if they improve their skill they can easily climb the level or became a hunter already of the next year and if not a year is wasted and stuck in being 3rd year.

School staff can actually create a Rank G gate but it costs a lot of magicrystal to just make one so the school takes the opportunity and conducts an expedition on the one that appeared recently.

When they heard what their homeroom teacher said, the students shouted showing their joy.

"Expedition? Is this for real ?!"

"Finally, I can do everything with my power!"

"So it's time, huh ?!"

Moria clapped once again to get their attention.

"Class quiet for now! The expedition will be going to happen next week so find a group where you belong and submit the list to me, the deadline of the groupings will be on friday 4:00 pm, every group need to atleast 5- 7 members, are we clear? "

"Yes, sir!" Simultaneous student response.

After the announcement of the expedition, Jin's classmate's groupings started while Jin was still suffering from his headache.

"Hey let's go together."

"Whoever I can be with will definitely secure the no.1 spot. Hahaha."
