The Hallowed Halls of the hell

Jiang Guangyi was pacing back and forth angrily, scowling at Jiang Xudong as he kept standing in a corner. Jiang Guangyi's face was red with rage, his fists clenched at his side as he tried to make sense of what was happening.

''Guangyi, why did you keep the dragon chessboard and the important papers in the secret room?'' Sect leader Wang Yuling asked him.

"So shall I shed every last drop of my blood out of terror that someone will stake my body with a sword? The dragon chessboard and the documents were far too vital to remain in my chamber!" Jiang Guangyi replied. ''The documents are under special enchantments, they can not read them''.

Jiang Xudong was standing quietly with his head hung low. He had believed what happened and that's why he couldn't believe it. Wang Yuling walked toward him and patted his head.

''Xudong! It wasn't your mistake. They won't be able to get access to the dragon chessboard nor the documents''.

Jiang Guangyi raised his head to look at him. ''It wasn't your mistake Xudong! Go, get some rest. If you have so much interest in Jiaxin Xu, I will leave her for you...but before doing anything, you need to think carefully!''

He unhesitatingly embraced both roles of elder brother and father.

''I am sorry, brother!''

Jiang Xudong, without even sparing a glance at his brother, contritely apologized for his many misdeeds and swiftly left the room, leaving Wang Yuling in a state of shock staring at Jiang Guangyi.

''What do think that I was unaware of all this?'' Jiang Guangyi asked.

Wang Yuling firmly shook her head. ''I don't think I comprehend you completely.'' She smiled and pressed her hand onto Wang Guangyi's shoulder as a mother would caress her toddler.

''Wei Liuxian is yesterday's boy...and Jiang Xicheng, his hot temper would take him nowhere''. Wang Yuling said. ''If they try to do something, I have a solution for that as well. You should go and take some rest now''.

Jiang Guangyi nodded. His head was aching badly.

''Wei Liuxian, you are going to pay for this!''

The Netherworld was a vast, dark realm filled with dense fog and eerie whispering. The souls of the dead resided here, some in grim solitude, others in bustling cities of ghostly energy.

The cities were complex and organized, reducing the disorientation of those who enter. Apparitions of all sizes and shapes wander through the mist, many of whom have been cursed with supernatural abilities.

The centrepiece of the Netherworld was a great cobalt lake known as the Lake of Oblivion. Those who ventured too close were stricken with fear and forgetfulness, for from its depths arose dark wraiths and ghastly creatures of the night.

At the centre of the lake lies a fortress, where the most powerful souls in the Netherworld had gathered to form a court of judgment. Here, those who were unjustly dead or cursed were granted a final chance to redeem themselves before entering the afterlife.

Though the Netherworld could be a frightening place, a bright light still shone through its depths. Everywhere, the souls of the deceased commune with each other, expressing their sorrows and their joys through tales and rituals, learning from each other, and even forming bonds of friendship that could last beyond death.

It was ruled by the tyrannical King of Hell, who held sway over the living, the dead, and the ghostly. He and his court demanded loyalty and servitude from their minions, and often enforce their will using terrible punishments.

The realm also contained secret realms, buried deep within the darkness, where magical objects are stored and guarded. The dead and the living both fear the King of Hell and so few dare to venture into his realm. Those that do seek miracles, knowledge, and secrets beyond the human realm.

Many dead souls who couldn't find peace, ghosts, and even many living creatures followed the King of hell and his army to seek revenge.

The princess of the Netherworld, a young woman wearing grand golden robes adorned with intricate embroidery, stepped out from her chamber apprehensively. She had been summoned by the Lord and King of Hell.

The palace of the King of Hell was befittingly majestic and intimidating. Stairs of obsidian towered above her, and the walls of the hall seemed to be built from blackish stone that emanated an aura of absolute darkness.

As she slowly made her way down the stairs and through the hall, she passed many demons that snickered and stared at her from beneath their hoods as they bowed their heads.

Finally, she arrived at the throne room, where the Lord of Hell was seated on his throne of black fire. A heavy silence filled the room, and the air even seemed to be hiding from her. No demon dared to breathe, and an ominous dread filled the chamber as she saw the King of Hell sitting on his throne waiting for her.
