… And what exactly is a Keeper of the Grave?" I asked as I looked over to Ulrich.

"Just as the name says. You're a Keeper of the Grave. You make sure that those who are buried in your Domain are properly kept. And that means everything from rites, maintenance of the grass, garden, or anything you place in your Domain." Ulrich said with an odd spark in his empty eyes.

"And I know what you are thinking. Oh, that's easy and well you're not wrong." Ulrich said in a knowing manner as he started heading toward the closest corpse hill. "But that is only true in the beginning as a Keeper of the Grave."

I raised my brow in slight confusion as I followed after Ulrich. "So, what. I'm I going to have to re-bury them again?"

"Yes." Ulrich answered without hesitation as he continued. "Now clean out your ears and listen as I would like to explain this once. Keeper of the Grave is a very powerful if not one of the toughest Jobs. I mean sure a Blacksmith, Tailor, Potion Master, or any other known and regular Jobs can be tough. But they have nothing when it comes to the Keeper of the Grave."

Ulrich said as he stopped next to the corpse hill, reached in, and pulled out a finely crafted dagger off of one of the corpses and tossed it to me.

I didn't even attempt to catch the dagger as I let it drop in front of me. As only a moron or a very highly trained professional would even attempt to try and catch a very sharp and flying object.

Ulrich didn't even seem surprised as he just continued to look at me. I wasn't bothered as I leaned down and picked up the dagger, but the moment it was placed in my hand the dagger started to rust as it slowly broke down into dust, only to be blown away by the wind.

I was shocked by the event that happened as I started to worry and hoped that what I was currently thinking didn't happen.

{System Notification.}

But it did.

{Notice because the user is a Grave Digger. User is only allowed to use Shovels as your weapon of choice.}

{Take notice if you had read the Letter in your Inventory you would have been updated and notified of the basics of your Class.}

{Also know that since you have decided not to read the Letter you will not be able to access it until the System has updated.}

{Good luck on your own!!}

"Ulrich?"

"Yes?" Ulrich answered with a hint of confusion in his voice.

"Why didn't you tell me that the Letter that I have in my Inventory helped me with information about my Class?" I asked Ulrich in a low but clear voice.

"You sound upset? I don't know why you sound upset as you never asked why I said not to open your letter." Ulrich said as he tilted his head slightly. "And how much information would you have gotten if you read the Letter at the Broken stage for an Origin level Class?"

I didn't say anything as I knew that Ulrich was right, but at the same time it still would've been solid information to know as I've been trying to figure out a way to gather any information about my Class.

But Since it's an Origin level Class there would be no such information as it's the first of its kind with an unknown potential. Meaning it could be very powerful or absolutely weak.

'I should start writing things down in a journal or something. Still should be an interesting journey for the next four weeks.' I said internally as I released a sigh.

"So as I was saying before we lost track of the conversation." Ulrich shook his head as he turned his attention back to the corpse hill. "Every single one of these hills are Rank: Human - 1 soldiers from one of the three surrounding kingdoms. Now since they are all at the first Rank Human you don't have to worry all too much."

"But if I were you I would go through each one of these hills… well for some you won't be able to since they're just paste. But back to what I was saying. But just because they are all at the first Rank doesn't mean that everyone was the same."

Ulrich said as he reached back into the corpse hill as he pulled out a unique looking dagger sheath. And again tossed it over. Luckily this time it didn't turn to dust when I caught it, as I gave it a once over before I put it into my Inventory.

"Look for anything that stands out on them, as the other two Kingdoms will have something different." Ulrich said as he pointed to the sheath in my hand as he continued. "But from that sheath alone I can tell that the soldier was a captain from the Theatarean Kingdom. And since he is from the Theatarean Kingdom…"

Ulrich continued to explain the basics about the soldier from the Theatarean Kingdom.

It was the Kingdom of Goblins. A very powerful Kingdom of Goblins. The first of its kind with a young, brutal, and very intelligent King. They practiced no known burial rights for those below the Rank General as they either burned the dead or ate them.

Then Ulrich reached back into the corpse pill and pulled out another two noticeable markings from another two bodies.

I was able to catch both of them with one hand each. I didn't notice it at first as normally I wouldn't have been able to.

Ulrich explained that the one on my left was a totem from the Moulon Kingdom. The totem represented a leadership position in the top rank of Human powers in the Moulon Kingdom.

While the other was a creepy looking collection of shrunken heads. And was at least a Boss of a small tribe in the Rak-Sta-Ba-Kin Kingdom.

Lucky all the Kingdoms including Otihame somehow practiced the same burial rite for those under the Rank: General. Minus eating their dead. Only the Theatarean Kingdom did which terrified many who fought them.

The only thing Ulrich said about the Moulon Kingdom was that it was a female lead Kingdom of Elves and left it at that with a smile.

While the Rak-Sta-Ba-Kin Kingdom was a dwarven Kingdom that lived in a massive sea of mountains.

I was amazed and terrified of the information Ulrich gave out, but just as I was about to ask a question Ulrich raised his hand.

"Trust me I know you want to know more information about the three Kingdom, but I would be stuck out here all day answering your questions in the soon to be blazing heat of summer." Ulrich started walking back to his 'Shack' as he continued. "But I'm not going to do that so if you want more information, look it up in my library. I should have the information somewhere."

I didn't listen as I quickly asked three of the most important questions I could think of.

"Is there anyone I can talk to for a business opportunity within the three Kingdoms? Who makes the best shovel in the Kingdoms? And where is the closest place to go fishing?"

Ulrich stopped as he turned around with a small yet confused look on his face. "Uh, you would probably need to talk to an Ambassador from one of the three Kingdoms, as I doubt you'll be able to do so here until you have power. For the shovel you would have to ask a Blacksmith from the Rak-Sta-Ba-Kin Kingdom, but good luck with that as they would kill you on sight since they take war seriously. And for fishing you would have to go to the lake about a little jog south of the Shack."

I nodded my head as I thanked Ulrich for the information as I asked if there was anything to help transport the bodies as Ulrich shook his head with a small laugh as he walked away.

"You'll thank me later as this'll be a great way to help increase your stats Bastion."

I kissed my teeth as I pulled out the Ancient Shovel as I went to look for a large area of land that I could use to put the bodies into two seperate mass graves.

One for the regular soldiers and then one for the higher ranking soldiers.

It didn't take me that long to find a good place to bury them as it felt like I was able to sense a spot that would work.

Except that the place seemed like it hadn't been maintained for many years as the grass was up to my waist, wild plant life, and I'm pretty sure I heard something moving inside.

"Well, at least there shouldn't be anything too scary in there. Plus I should probably ask Ulrich for another shovel if he has one because this one won't work." I sighed as I looked at my shovel.

"I mean I doubt you'll allow me to even cut the grass."
