Chapter 33

"Ma'am, someone is waiting for you in your office, she said she's your sister".Her receptionist said.

Tamara took an elevator for her office and when she opened her office door, she was suprised to see Fiona after Six long years.

This was the first time she's going to have a conversation with her after six years.

As soom as she stepped into her office, the air was changed to tension. Hearing footsteps Fiona stood up and walked toward Tamara. Her eyes blazed with hatred and disgust. "You, what did you do to Dixon?, she said pointing her fingers accusingly.

"You're the reason why my husband is gone. You even went ahead to buy our house Tamara. I even wonder why I didn't kill you six years ago Tamara, the same way I killed your bastard child."

Tamara's eyes widened in horror, her face draining of all colour. She felt she has been punched in the gut, her breath knocked out of her.

She stumbled backwards, her hands flying to her mouth in shock. "No…no…that's not possible," she stammered, her voice barely audible.

Her eyes filled with tears, her vision blurring. She felt a wave of nausea wash over her, her mind reeling with the revelation.

Tamara's mind raced back to that night, six years ago, like a movie playing in her head.

She remembered the party. She remembered how Fiona persuaded her to go.

She recalled the moment she raised her glass, the sweet taste of the juice and the sudden feeling of dizziness, experiencing of sharp pains in her stomach side and the blood in between her thighs.

She remembered stumbling, Fiona's face concerned, and her rush to the hospital.

The memories came flooding back, like a tidal wave crashing on the shore. Fiona's somber face, the words. The pain, the grief, the overwhelming sense of emptiness.

She relieved the moments she had tried to forget, her constant nightmares, the memories she suppressed within her. The feeling of her world crashing down.

The flashback was vivid, like a nightmare come to life. She felt the same pain, the same anguish, the same sense of betrayal. Her mind raced with questions, "Why? How could you? What did I ever do to you?

Tamara's eyes snapped back to the present, her gaze fixed on the person she once called her best friend, her expression a mix of anger, sadness, disbelief.

The past and present collided, the truth finally sinking in, like a heavyweight setting in her heart after realizing that her so called best friend was responsible for it all.

Tamara's expression expression turned from shock to anger, her eyes blazing with fury.

"You…you monster!" she spat, her voice low and venomous. "How could you do that to me? To my unborn child". Why did you tell me to keep the child when you knew you wanted to kill it?. She took a step forward, her hands clenched into fists.

"You were supposed to be my friend, my confidant. But you were a snake in the grass, waiting to strike."

Her voice cracked with emotions, her body trembling with rage and sorrow. "You took away my chance as a motherhood, my chance at happiness. You destroyed me, and now you're standing here, questioning me?"

She shook her head, her eyes filled with disgust. "You're not a friend but a murder".

Tamara's mind was raced with mix of emotions, her thoughts consumed but a desire of justice, or perhaps revenge. She plan to expose her deceit and cruelty to the world, to make her pay for the pain and suffering she had endured.

This time she wasn't going to make way for Fiona.

….

Later in the night Tamara went to a club which is very unusual of her, hoping to drown her sorrows in alcohol.

She ordered drinks by drinks and drank them all, letting the music and light numb her feelings.

As the night wore on and she didn't realize it was late.

When Axel returned home he was surprised when he learnt that Tamara was not back home yet. He took his phone and dialed Adrien's number asking him to discreetly track Tamara's number location.

In five minutes time Axel got a message from Adrien, he checked it immediately. He was totally shocked when he saw her location she was in Fiz.

Fiz is a popular club in Country K. Seeing her location, he went out of the car, picked a car and drove to the club.

He arrived at the club, found her in a drunken state and gently helped her into the car with so much difficulties because she kept on walking clumsily and bumping into people.

Still going to add to this chapter…you won’t expect what’s going to happen in the next episode. Should Tamara forgive Fiona?
