Training

"Faster, you are going to be up against Skagossi men who can break stone with nothing but their bare hands!" Arthor shouted from the side as Lothor rushed at Benjen with two hand axes one in each hand.

It had been six months since they had began their training, Incorporating training methods he had learnt from the countless hours spent behind the screen, hah and they said I was wasting away if only the could see me now mused Arthor.

The countless modes of training, the ones which were actually feasible had helped pushing their already inhumane Skagossi physical attributes even further.

Of course the two brothers had decided to train their younger brother Lothor in the art of battle as well seeing as he was five name days, the exact age when they themselves had began their own training.

When they had decided on this they had laid out the weapons available to them for Lothor to pick one. At that the boy did not hesitate to pick up the axes, before looking to Arthor to train him.

Arthor had later on come to learn that his axe throw that day had left a deep impression on Lothor who had now set him as his goal in life.

Benjen continued to dodge Lothor's attacks before pressing him with the wooden shield Arthor had crafted. The shield was nearing its end with the fierce attacks Lothor continued to rain down on it.

"Just speed is enough you need to be precise with your attacks as well don't forget the people you are to be fighting need but only hit to take you down!" Taking Arthor's words as a signal Benjen finally pushed back with enough strength to send Lothor a few steps back and on his bum.

"Again" Arthor called out as Lothor made it back to his feet with a wide grin as he focused on Benjen. Arthor had always known his brother to be a wild one but these moons he had spent training him training him had revealed to Arthor just how much this brother of his loved battle.

*Sigh* A sigh broke his concentration causing him to turn to the youngest Ronell who had a despondent expression on his face. He was but a year younger than Lothor but unlike the rest of his family he actually looked his age.

Apart from Ronell, the others looked far older than their age with stronger arms and broader chests with Arthor already noticing signs of hair on his seven name day body and Lothor looking more and more like a prepubescent boy than an actual five year old which if Arthor was being honest frightened him a tad. Arthor had attributed it to the giant side of his blood which his parents had talked about but Ronell seemed to have more first man blood than Giant.

This prevented him from training with the rest as his body was not developed enough to swing any of the other weapons. Arthor did allow for him to join the body weight training although monitoring him closely so as to make sure he didn't hurt himself, as well as teaching him the bow.

Ronell had proven himself to have eyesight comparable to an eagle, but his physical attributes had gotten in the way as he was unable to draw the bow which Arthor had formed for him.

"What is it Ronell?" Arthor spoke in a soft tone, "I want to fight to, give me a chance, I know I can if you'll just let me" Arthor ruffled his brothers hair and smiled in response.

"Just keep up with what I told you, and I'm sure pretty soon you'll be able to draw the bow. When you can do that, we will see about training you in other weapons as well. What do you say?"

Ronell kept his head low but still nodded his head allowing for Arthor to head to Lothor to advice him on his battle stance.

Ronell continued to watch them for another minute annoyed at how his siblings were treating him before deciding to head back for the cave as the temperature began to drop once more. As he turned around he managed to take notice of a raven, he locked eyes with the creature which simply cawed before flying away.

Night soon came, and the four siblings were in their cave once again. Benjen had night's watch that night and sat before the fire with his sword on his lap facing the entrance as the other tree slept covered in fur cloaks in an attempt to keep themselves warm.

On that night however, Ronell found it a bit hard to fall asleep. Every time he would close his eyes he would see the raven he had seen earlier in the day, this continued until at some point, he did not know when he saw something else entirely.

He was looking down at the mountains from the sky with the cold winds washing over him, the bare trees below continued to appear as he flew in what seemed to be a random manner.

This continued until he laid sight on four unicorns all with dirty brown hair, with a closer observation he noticed that only one of the Unicorns was large with the others being only the size of average goats.

His curiosity was picked, seeing something other than snow rock and tree and flew in closer but was suddenly awoken with a jolt to see Arthor standing over him.

"Wake up Ronell, it's time to eat".
