Years had gone by but time had remained the same as when Avina left. The sky was still dark and school would start again tomorrow.
But there were still a couple of important things to note. For one, Avina was no longer going to grade school. Instead, she was attending a college nearby.
Alistair was the same as her. He had also grown up, but instead of going to college, he had finished college and was working in Daniel's company. Sooner or later, he would inherit all that Reinhart had to offer.
Another difference was that there were two additional people in the residence than what Avina remembered. Diana and Ledona returned home and continued to live here.
All these were quite small differences that Avina prepared herself for or didn't care about. After all, the key to turning time was to lever the advantage towards her side.
'I wonder if I'm still at an advantage,' Avina muttered.
