This will allow me to publish even more chapters, do special events, and let me know you guys are enjoying it! Also, there is more of a stat involved part of the system that has been introduced in the later chapters(63). Experience isn't visibly tracked until this point - up until then it is still gathered and slayers do grow slightly stronger from fights, but there's no way of knowing how much has been gained until the chapter it's introduced.]

Well, That Was Easy

Jun and Ryo stood around what appeared to be just a hole in the ground covered by a sizable metal plate. There was no discernible design on the metal plate, but it stuck out from the rest of the dark colored and depressing surroundings.

"This is it?" Jun said questionably.

"This is it." Ryo confirmed.

Jun circled around the plate a few times but saw no clear way of lifting or opening it. It really looked like a random metal plate that got left behind - not the secret entrance into a Seraph's base.

It had been a few days since they first played that game of 'Dodge Strike' and set out on the road directly to Fydos's location since Ryo claimed he knew where it was. Many more Dodge Strike games and miles later, they finally arrived at this metal plate in the ground.

"I'm sorry to doubt you Ryo, but this just doesn't scream 'Seraph hideout' to me. I also can't sense any divine energy from down there." Jun said.
