The Archangel's Trap, Part 1

Axel continued forward, still unable to parse Steve's energy from all the other divine energy that he could feel around them. It was like trying to locate a specific spot in the ocean. What was worse was that the area he was walking through was getting narrower with each step.

He reached a point that he would literally have to squeeze through the space in order to get to the other side.

"Ugh, I can't stand tight spaces." said Axel. Everyone had their fears, and Axel's was claustrophobia. Not wanting to double back or try to fly over it and risk giving himself away, he carefully slid his way through the opening and out the other side.

"Huh? I can barely see anything." A fog had flooded the area, making visibility close to impossible. He looked back at the tiny slit he almost wasn't able to get through and realized that he only had one option. "This just screams trap." He said, pulling out his blade and igniting it as a light source.
