Chapter 14: A Feud of Fire.

"Tell me, Mother... Who did you steal it from?"

A fan came out of her right hand and she waved it at me. Hundreds of thousands of knives were flying at my face but I did not flinch as I knew that they could not damage me.

The knives exploded in front of me and just as I had expected, she only used the bare minimum to explode the knives.

"You know the rules. A contractor must never reveal the information on their contract."

"Then you leave me no choice, DEAR. MOTHER."

My voice which was always calm in all sorts of situations became a ruler's voice as she looked at me with a shocked face.

"I know very well that you received a GIFT from my recent evolution. So, as per the contract the family. You must conquer and obtain the power yourself and not receive it, did it not?"

She wanted to fight using words so we were both in a stalemate.

I wanted to know where she stole the Wish Card and track down who made a contract with mother, while she broke a contract rule that was signed when she was married to Father. So we are now in a complete stalemate where the first one to move would be the winner.

'So as she thinks...'

I already knew that she would receive a GIFT from my evolution and I was planning to use it some other time but it seems that I already needed to use it.

Father didn't receive any gifts as he did not accept the GIFT and gave it back to me, resulting in one of my subordinates getting two GIFTS.

Mother looked flustered as she gripped her fan tightly her aura went berserk, making the terrain shake and the ground shattered.

'So this is what an experienced True Demon Lord is truly capable of... How fascinating.'

I counter-attacked by releasing my aura. Our auras clashed and it could be seen that Mother was winning and I was losing but thanks to [ Trauma Immunity ] I was not affected by her attack.

"A.K.A."

Mother muttered as her aura subsided and the scenery changed into a flowery field as the butlers returned and served her tea.

I understood what she meant and swiftly moved to find the Akatsuki members.

Just like the original, they were in the Village of Rain and were in the center of it. But of course, their surveillance was everywhere but, they were still too weak to notice my existence.

'There's a most likely chance that Nagato has an Ultimate Skill. I can't fight him as of now.'

Nagato had the 10 tails and the Rinnegan so it would be such a pain if we fought each other and Konan would also help him.

I used the water droplets around the village to travel at the speed of lightning and with the speed I was going, they could not even notice I was already collecting information around their base until I saw a paper origami shaped like a butterfly.

'Am I guessing she's Konan?'

'They noticed me?... Took longer than expected...'

Nagato noticed I was using the water droplets to travel in an instant around their base so he quickly used his powers to stop the rain.

Once I transformed back to my original body, Nagato swiftly moved and blocked all the passages around the Village.

"Nagato..."

With that single word, they were all stunned and stopped as they looked at me with shock on their faces.

"How do you know him?"

Konan was in her angel form and half of her body became paper. She was in the sky looking at me as the 6 paths of pain stopped to watch and analyze the situation.

"This is none of your concern..."

"Then so be it!"

She waved her hand and the 6 paths of pain started to move at a fast speed which proved my suspicion of Nagato having an Ultimate Skill.

'I guess I don't have a choice.'

"May this be our last battle?"

With a calm and elegant demeanor, I took out my sword and started to cut them down. The six paths of pain prevented me from going any further with their ridiculous teamwork, they were able to suppress me.

"I don't want to hurt you Nagato..."

"Then what are you here for then?"

The six paths of pain spoke at the same time as they started to attack me more. The power they wielded was much greater than what I originally expected as they kept on suppressing me while at the same time trying to kill me.

"I'm here to warn you about the so-called Madara and Zetsu... Zetsu is probably watching us as of now... Am I right?"

I used my sword and cracked the ground. A white Zetsu came out of it and in the process of me breaking the ground, he died.

"Are you now willing to talk to me?"

"As if!"

The truth may be told, I already expected them to deny my entry but, they didn't expect that my original goal was to plant the seeds of doubt in their so-called Team.

"You do know that the White Zetsus are everywhere, even if you are as strong as you think, you are only a tool..."

I swiftly turned into lightning and escaped.

( Nagato P.O.V. )

At a random place where Nagato was located, Konan appeared at his side as they both wanted to talk about the strange woman arriving.

"Konan, what do you think?"

"I believe she might be of use to us. I checked every single part of the Village and Zetsu was everywhere and Maybe... He also here..."

"Those pests! *Caugh* *Caugh*"

"Don't overwork yourself..."

Konan was worried about Nagato's health but at the same time, they were both furious as they realized that all their movement were being tracked by none other than their so-called partner.

"What would be our next move... Then..."

This was the hardest question that could not be answered with just a yes or a no. They needed to think it through as though it was life and death. ( Like literally since if they are no longer partners with the white Zetsu, black Zetsu, and Obito, then they are going to a war... )

"As you know, I have an Ultimate Skill, but I am still inexperienced in using the skill so I am currently weak... *Caugh* *Caugh* and my body and soul *Caugh* *Caugh* can't take it any longer..."

"I know that Nagato, That's why... That's why I-"

Konan clinched his fist as her rage at herself for being weak grew and grew as she wanted to protect Nagato and didn't want to lose another friend.

Nagato knew what Konan felt but he continued on his "GOAL", fully knowing what Konan felt.
