Chapter 12: Death Battle.

The Harvest Festival was successfully finished and I received a "Gift".

It didn't even take me a day to wake up. Since I had [ Trauma Immunity] I was able to offset some of the effects of the Harvest Festival.

I looked at the sky and said to Veldora. "Let me guess. The Moderate Harlequin Troop is attacking the Ogre village."

"...Yes."

I stood up and ran as fast as possible to the Ogre Village. I arrived at the village, in less than 5 minutes.

The three of them already noticed me and were blocking my way. Tear was on the side while Footman was on the front. Laplace on the other hand was hiding, waiting for me to let down my guard.

"Leave now intruder!"

I thrust my sword at them, aiming for their heads. The [ Eye of Judgment] was activated and they noticed it.

Tear swung her synth to my left. The tip of the synth was aiming for my left eye. Footman rolled his body and launched his body onto me.

"Shh~"

My blade deflected all their attacks in a second and they were shocked. They were already trapped as the lightning barrier surrounded us.

"HoHo... Nice trick." Footman started to act weird as he started to laugh.

"Have still not realized who I am? And what I can do to you?"

"Your just a meer Zoldyck. Your no one without your background." Footman said as Tear started to find ways to escape.

"Then let me show you what I can do."

The [ Eye of Judgment] activated and purple slashes appeared on their body. The slashes were going to cut them apart and kill them but Laplace saw the future and attacked me using his bombs.

"[ Banquet ]"

Black smoke came out of my body and ate all the bombs but it was enough for them to recuperate and make another plan to survive.

'This will be dangerous if I continue... I should end this as quickly as possible.'

I moved at a tremendous speed and Tear and I started to clash with one another but she doesn't even last 3 seconds as the [ Eye of Judgment ] kept on attacking her in different places all at the same time.

Her limps were cut and wounds were everywhere. Laplace replaced her and he started to match my swordsmanship.

He could keep up with my swordsmanship and my [ Eye of Judgment ] at the same time.

'How is he even able to match my speed? I need that Unique Skill that he has...'

I applied [ Banquet] onto my Katana and started to devour his mana. Every single attack that he had made me even more powerful.

"Enough. Move and I'll kill him."

Footman took one of the Village People and threatened me with his life. I retracted my [ Lightning Barrier ] and enhanced my aura.

"[ Plain of Euthymia ]"

From my back, the space started to shatter as the four of us were eaten in my domain. The Oger was not brought in as he was not allowed entry.

"Let's all end this, shall we?" I asked as I made a sword stance.

( Laplace P.O.V. )

'Sh*t, Sh*t, Sh*t... We're gonna die.'

I already looked into every possibility I could see and there was not a single possibility where I would survive.

'From the moment I saw her, there was not a chance where I could survive. I didn't even realize the [ Lightning Barrier ] had an Anti Magic on it. This is truly not ending well.'

I was using my head to think of a way where we would be able to survive.

'I already ordered Tear to kill her but she didn't even last 3 seconds. Footman won't last a second if they fought.'

( Mikoto P.O.V. )

'They have perfect synergy but they're still too weak.'

Laplace started to order them to go on the defense and they swiftly moved and formed a triangle.

Footman was on the front while Laplace was on the left, ready to intercept me at any time while Tear on the other hand made multiple defensive stances.

"As swift as lightning!"

I thrust my sword forward and it pierced through Footman's chest. Laplace did not sit still and threw knives at me.

I blocked all of them and Tear came to my back and swung her synth. I managed to dodge it and the sky started to rain.

( Laplace P.O.V. )

'Huh? Why did she make it rain?'

I was confused but my Unique Skill [ Seer ] saw the future and realized what he was going to do.

I swiftly moved and threw knives at the sky. The knives exploded and the rain stopped for a second until it poured down again.

'I-I've been...'

"Checkmate."

The [ Eye of Judgment ] activated and thousands of purple slashes slashed their bodies and killed them on the spot.

"How pathetic... I expec-"

I suddenly felt something on my chest and once I looked at it. There was a hole in my chest. I immediately reacted and made my body into pure destructive lightning.

"Did you think we would go down that easily?" Laplace started to chuckle as the others followed.

My body started to form into a humanoid being and I looked at them with anger and frustration as they kept laughing.

'He used [ Falsifier ] on me so I wouldn't be able to notice him...' "Annoying Pest!"

A beam of Purple lightning pierced through the sky as they prepared themselves once more to fight me head-on.

The wound on Footman was still not fully recovered as Tear was on the front. Laplace activated his skills again as I raised my guard against any attack.

Laplace attacked first, throwing a bag of knives at me. I devoured all the knives and started to analyze his skills.

My [ Baleful Omen ] has a part of the skills [ Great Sage ] and [ Degenerate ] so it was easier to analyze and make countermeasures on his skills.

After separating his skill and the knife. I realized that he was just using basic illusions but what surprised me was that he was able to pass through my [ Trauma Immunity ] and successfully deceive me.

Laplace went to me again with Tear on my back. We both fought as I tried to analyze his skills more.

He started to get stronger for unknown reasons. I looked at Footman and he was using his Unique Skill [ Amplifier ] to make Laplace's [ Falsifier ], mana constitute, and body constitute stronger.

Tear's power combined with Laplace pushed me back as I did not have a choice but to use [ Baleful Omen ] to try and push them back.

The [ Eye of Judgment ] did not even damage Tear as she was always hiding behind Laplace who defended all my attacks.

'This is getting nowhere.'

With pure swordsmanship, I managed-no I killed Tear as her heart was sliced into two. [ Baleful Omen ] stopped her regenerative power as she was also trying to heal Footman who got a direct hit from my Katana.

Tear was already badly injured from [ Eye of Judgment ] and she was only barely alive thanks to amplifying her body constitute from the "order" she received from Laplace.

Laplace and Footman were surprised at what happened as my swordsmanship did not match the previous rhythmic pattern.
