Is the Elf King the same one I remember from the game? What's going on with him? He was a good person, as far as I recall... or are these elves simply disgruntled? Alex pondered, a sense of confusion clouding his thoughts.
Alex steepled his fingers, his expression thoughtful. "I understand your concerns," he began, his voice measured and reassuring. "But before I can offer guidance, I need to know more about this situation. Tell me, have you noticed any patterns in the disappearances? Are certain types of people more likely to vanish than others?"
The elf hesitated for a moment, then replied, "Mostly young women and children have been taken. They disappear without a trace, leaving their families devastated."
Alex's brow furrowed. This detail triggered a memory from the game. There was a involving a demon secretly kidnapping humans and elves to evolve its own kind... this might be connected.
