A cold dread settled in Alex's stomach. The implications were staggering. Everything he thought he knew about this world, about death and returning home, was a lie.
"So… If I help you, you can… send me back to the real world?"
Adika's eyes held a strange glint. "Perhaps. But there's more to it than that, Alex. There's a bigger game at play here, and we might just be the pawns. But together, maybe we can become the players."
"Hold on, Being a hero leader is a big responsibility. It's hard to just abandon that and become 'neutral.'" Alex interjected, a frown creasing his forehead.
Adika chuckled, a warm, yet dismissive sound. "Don't worry about it. Keep doing what you're doing, leading your heroes. But alongside that, I want you to focus on one thing: becoming the strongest god, even surpassing the Outer Gods."
Alex's eyebrows shot up. "Strongest god? How?"
"Open your interface, There should be a leaderboard somewhere around there."
