For a moment, Amelia and Lyra exchanged amused glances. Alex, ever the pragmatist beneath his godly status, cleared his throat and offered a polite smile to the wide-eyed receptionist.
"Excuse me, like to take the goblin quest, if it's still available."
The young woman blinked, as if jolted from a daze. A blush crept up her neck, spreading warmth across her freckled cheeks. "Y-yes, of course," she stammered, her voice barely a whisper. "It, uh, it hasn't been taken yet."
Flustered but determined, she reached behind the counter and retrieved a worn leather scroll tied with a crimson ribbon. This was the official quest document, detailing the specifics of the goblin problem and the expected rewards upon its successful completion.
"Here you go," she mumbled, her voice barely audible as she extended the scroll towards Alex.
