Akiko gritted her teeth, her resolve hardening. She would not let this demon win. "Kitsu," she said, her voice steely, "prepare for a full-scale attack. We cannot let her continue this rampage."
Kitsu roared in response, its eyes glowing with renewed ferocity. It gathered its power, the air around it crackling with energy.
"This is not over, Solvizath," Akiko declared, her voice echoing across the battlefield. "We will defeat you, even if it costs us our lives!"
"Humans are so dramatic about their lives!" Solvizath scoffed, raising her hands high above her head.
Clap! With a loud clap, the air around her shattered, the shockwave sending cracks spiderwebbing across the sky.
The samurai gasped in horror as a gaping rift opened in the air, revealing a swirling vortex of darkness. From within the abyss, countless demons poured forth, their roars echoing across the battlefield.
