Bobby's expression was solemn. "What is it about the pond that affects my left eye and inner powers?" he wondered. He was sure even higher-level students from the fifth or sixth sky would feel uneasy in his shoes. The secret of the Dragonfly River must be around here somewhere, he thought. He'd already scanned the other areas with his left eye and found nothing. He could only see a few feet below the surface of the freezing pond. Had this been a normal body of water, he would have been able to penetrate much more of its depth, but this water was unique and mysterious. "I can't see the bottom of the pond. Should I get in? Is finding the secret really worth it?" he thought.
