Bobby didn't strive for speed as he worked through the mechanism step by step, finding every reward and trap hidden throughout. Bobby's spiritual eye could find them easily, but without more knowledge of the mechanisms, he could only estimate their purpose. After passing through the fourth room, Bobby had started to feel more confident with the beginner level mechanisms and had begun to understand most of the information from the book he had received in the second room. The difficulty of the mechanisms increased with each door he passed through. Even using the spiritual eye to scan every room, he wanted to find the reward each room had to offer, but his thoroughness was costing him time.
