A Brutal Critique

Abe's assessment of Bobby's technique was brutal and held nothing back. The latter's reaction was the same as Noah's: silent and expressionless. The disciples had to accept Abe's judgment no matter how insulting it was. The powerful and strong governed over the others. Bobby thought that's the law in the world of cultivation. Abe reached his peak and had the right to judge everyone. Jan seemed to agree with him.

"Junior Brother Bobby, Junior Brother Noah," he said, "Abe is right. Accept what he says and learn from your mistakes. Only then can you improve." He looked at their faces and knew they weren't happy, so he tried to encourage them. Abe was certainly arrogant, but he was spot-on most of the time.
