Getting Accustomed

In a village far to the south of a certain kingdom resides a certain person of interest.

"Ahhh "

*Schap* schap*

"Today's going to be a wonderful day.!"

Exiting his room the boy leisurely walks to the bathroom to get prepared for the day.

A few minutes later the boy runs into the living room of the small thatch house to greet his parents.

"Morning Mom, Morning dad how are you?"

Daisy responded with "Oh good morning honey I'm fine how are you?"

While Marcus replied with "Morning"

"I'm doing great mom."

"That's good. Take a seat it's time for breakfast."

After taking a seat at the table Allison his mother placed three dishes on the table for the family to eat.

'Thank you for this meal."

Both The father and son replied

The family had a nice and calm breakfast together, exchanging a few words with one another while eating.

After the dinner, Marcus made an announcement.

"Allison you're going to be starting your training soon."

"Alright, Dad. So when do I start?"

"Right now " Marcus replied with a crooked grin

" Now now"

"Yes now. You better get ready we're going to the edge of the forest."

"Ahh alright, give me a minute."

Allison quickly leaves the room to get quietly quipped for the training his father has planned for him.

"Dear please don't overdo it he's only seven."

"Don't worry dear I'll be going easy on him for the first three days."

"Hugh alright."

"I'm back Dad and I'm ready to go."

"Alright let's go see you, dear, we'll be back by lunch."

"Alright be safe you two."

" Bye Mom"

As the father duo pair was preparing to leave Marcus leaves

the room, a few moments later he came back out with a great bigger than his own body with a lustrous black coloring littered with scrapes and scratches depicting the battles it has been through.

"Alright let's go."

The father and son duo walked around the edge of the village to reach a vibrant forest.

"Alright we're here

"So what am I doing first?"

"We're going to stretch for a few minutes and then we'll start with the training."

" So let's start with some stretches."

"I'm on it."

After stretching they proceeded to do jumping jacks, squats, lunges, and so on.

"Alright we've finished stretching so now we can start the training."

" *Huff *Hugh *huff* wait that wasn't just stretching?!'

"Yeah of course, now I want twenty pushups from you now."

"Hugh yes sir "

*Huff* *Huff* *Hugh*

"Done, how much more is left?

"Oh you done, give me twelve pull-ups then end it with two laps around the edge of the forest."

"Hugh, okay "

Allison carried his aching body to a nearby tree to do the twelve pull-ups his father told him to do.

After each pull up his body was introduced to an even higher amount of pain than the last until he finished the set.

"Huff hug almost done."

Allison ran around the edge of the forest with all the power he could muster.

"Hugh Hugh almo- whoa!"

"Ouch."

"You okay there Ali ?!"

"Yeah I'm fine I just trip- what's that?"

Close to the forest, a bush was violently shaking until it stopped.

"Hmmm, I guess it was nothing."

Then suddenly a small black creature jumped out in the open.

A small fluffy black rabbit with red eyes was curiously staring at Allison.

"Ahh. Oh, it's just a rabbit nothing to worry about."

This sentiment wasn't shared with Marcus it seems.

"Allison stay in that position and slowly crouch back while maintaining eye contact with the creature!"

Allison turned from the rabbit to look at his father to reply

"What why it's just a rabbit?"

As soon as these words were spoken there things transpired

One was how the little rabbit formed a smile consisting of hundreds of razor-sharp teeth. The second was how hundreds of red eyes became apparent in the shadows of the forest.

And third, was Marcus' advance toward Allison's location with his great sword brandished.

"AL DUCK NOW!"

Even though Allison didn't understand what was happening he listened to his father's instructions and ducked.

As soon as a blink he was there with his weapon held high.

Marcus expertly wielded the great sword to cut through the first rabbit and a few more that came from the forest.

He effortlessly brought the sword down upon the crowd of monsters, while he raised his right foot off the ground, using the weight of the sword he brought his foot down strengthening the strike. Before the massive sword could reach the ground he swung it to his side cutting down any unfortunate monsters in its way. He struck down with his sword claiming the last creature's life.

Each stike of his sword decimated the monsters.

It wasn't long until all the monsters were killed.

While all this was happening all Allison could do was stare in awe at the exceptional blade work his father was demonstrating.

After the battle, Marcus calmly takes out a bag from one of his pockets and places as much of the monster meat as he could in the bag.

"Alli carry this while we walk."

After a few minutes of walking.

". So what have we learned today?"

" When an order is not followed chaos transpires."

"Good. I feel like I've said this already but please listen to me when you're near the forest."

" Alright Dad, I promise I'll listen from now on."
