Chapter 9 | The Game Plan

The Samurai stood up from the ground and turned around walking away from the duo. He didn't want to disturb them any longer than they already have.

"You're not going to stay?" Jel asked hinting at the Samurai to join them.

The Samurai paused and turned around to face Jel with a confused expression. "What?" He asked.

"Well, we're going to need as much information and help for taking down your boss," Jel said. "Or maybe you don't want to take him down?" Jel questioned the Samurai.

The Samurai did feel a lot of hate towards his boss now that he realized that he was being used for the boss's benefit. But he could only pause and question how he was going to reply to Jel's question. Part of him wanted to stay and fight along with the duo, but part of him knew that he'd just be more of a disturbance. At least that's what the Samurai thought.

"What's your name," Jel asked.

"It's Hiroshi." The Samurai replied.

"That's a nice name," Jel said.

Hiroshi felt even more confused why Jel was being kind to him in simple ways. Was he not annoyed for all the annoyance and harm he had caused? He tried murdering his friend and yet he kept being friendly.

"Why are you being nice to me?" The Hiroshi asked.

"Because you seem like a person with a lot of potential on our team." Jel smiled.

"Yeah dumbass, the least you can do is stay after you almost killed me," Steven said sarcastically.

"Fine," Hiroshi said making up his mind. "I'll come along and fight with you guys"

"Great, welcome to the team," Steven said reaching out for a handshake.

"Thank you," Hiroshi said shaking Steven's hand. "I'm looking forward to working with you guys."

The new Trio then settled down preparing for a discussion over pancakes. They were going to start planning and gathering information about Hacks to find a way to hit their weak spot.

"All right, I'll tell you first how the Hacks faction works," Hiroshi said. "First, the boss keeps his identity a secret to anyone below first in command, I was 2nd in command which means he kept his identity a total secret to me. Below 2nd in command is the Elites which are special brutes that defend the ones in command. They can also defend the boss and are known for guarding the hideout. Below them are goons who are soldiers that act as pawns for the boss."

"Okay, but what are the boss's motives?" Jel asked.

"He wants to have complete control over the district," Hiroshi replied. "Of course, there's administrators and the district owner in charge. But they've slowly started have been losing power over the factions and other things. The boss wants to destroy every other faction and take control over the market after. Once he has the economy in his wallet then he'll target administrators and finally make his way to the Owner and overthrow him."

"Why the heck is he trying to take control over the district?" Steven asked "After the dumbass has all of the cash and space over his command. Then what's left?"

"The prime district ranks pretty high in the district leaderboard," Hiroshi said. "I'm guessing that after he takes control, he'll target smaller Districts and add it to his control. Finally, he'll combine the power of all those small districts and fight against the district on top of him. If he succeeds, then he'll take over every district in the country. And He'll probably take control over District 101 of The Union."

The Union is a country. At least one-third of the country is District 101 where all the districts are held. And District 101 is only a state. There are other states such as Southeria, The Cycle empire, Sunrise Bay, and finally The Union Capital which held the main city of the Union.

If the boss of Hacks got control over district 101, he could spark a war all across the Union. And if he won, then he'd be the king of the country and possibly claim territory over other nearby countries. The Union was a place known for being an extremely peaceful country that never dared to take territory from other countries or go to war.

"Well, you know where the boss's base is right?" Steven asked Hiroshi.

"Yes, but he'll notice that I haven't reported back and will probably suspect betrayal meaning he'll change bases. He'll probably have all the goons transfer everything to a new unknown base for him."

"Shit, I wonder what we can do." Steven wondered.

"He's already destroyed at least 4/5 of the prime district's factions. It's only a matter of time he targets you for bringing me on your side." Hiroshi stated.

"You're right, but until then we'll find a way to strike him into the gut," Steven said. "But how exactly are we going to do that?"

"You can do it by targeting the Market," Hiroshi stated. "You can try becoming big on the market to gain a small monopoly and then use it to your advantage when his next plan begins after taking over the market, then you'll have a head start."

"That's a great idea!" Jel said. "Steven! Didn't Huddy say something about investing in a bigger shop!"

"Your right!" Steven said. "I can employee in her shop and use my extreme charm to become popular in the market!"

"Well, I'm not so sure about charm..." Jel said. "But it can work!"

"Great!" Steven said. "Then I'll find Huddy later today and apply!"

The new gang has finally been completed. The newly formed trio has now begun an undeclared war in the Prime District.

Meanwhile, in the boss's base. The boss sat in a lonely room on his leather chair. Petting the black sketchy Cat on his lap. The tall fancy wooden doors swung open as a boy entered inside. It was the same Boy who attacked Huddy's shop with his goons. He wore the same white goggles and a blue T-shirt with dark blue jeans. He had brown short hair and white skin.

He walked towards the Boss's desk and sat on top of it.

"Is your report on Hiroshi?" The boss asked dismissing the stranger's rude manner.

"Yeah, he went over there and fought the swordsman but spared him." The stranger said. "Now he's working with them and is probably giving them information about us."

"Great, just another traitor escaping our grasp." The boss said with an annoyed tone. "We'll eliminate him along with the swordsman later, thanks for informing me, Bryan."

"No probs, anyways are you going to start part two of the plan?" Bryan asked. "You know the whole targeting the Market plan."

"We've eliminated all threatful and large factions." The boss stated. "Now we're going to begin our invasion over the Market."

"Great, at least by the end of it I'll have all the snacks to myself!" Bryan laughed.

"Of course, Bryan," The boss said. "You're my best friend and first in command, you'll be rewarded with riches and sweets."

"Yay!" Bryan cheered. "I can't wait."

Bryan then jumped off the desk walking out of the room. The boss sat there pulling up a tablet showing all the information of the Prime District's members. He then pulls up Steven's profile looking disgusted at first sight. He was disgusted at the fact that some weakling was chasing him down. It truly annoyed him.

"Steven Valk," The boss said to himself petting the cat. "I will make sure you die along with your friends."

"Lakeside retreat will be no more." The boss laughed.

Back at the base, Steven grinned with cockiness gazing off at the blue sky.

"Hacks will be no more." Steven laughed.

The war was now in motion. Both sides knew what they were dealing with and weren't afraid to back down. It was time to fight over the Prime District.
