Cap⁴ A great apprentice.

-"Wow, it's already dawn!"- says Glegory. ("Boom")

The door creaks and Beltrán bursts in with a bang.

-"It's daytime, kid, we have to go out and train. Today is your big day, I'll teach you all kinds of fighting techniques that you don't even know about, ha, ha, ha,!"- says Beltrán.

-"Yes, Uncle Beltrán, I'll be right out,"- says Glegory.

Glegory quickly rushes outside, but at the exit, his grandfather is waiting for him.

-"Where are you going in such a hurry, Glegory? You have to eat something first, or you'll get sick,"- says the grandfather.

-"Yes, grandfather, I'll eat something before going out with Uncle Beltrán,"- says Glegory.

Glegory heads towards the kitchen, and his grandmother serves him a meat soup.

-"Here you go, Glegory, so you have enough energy to train with Beltrán,"- says the grandmother.

-"Thank you, grandmother, the soup is delicious,"- says Glegory.

Glegory finishes eating and rushes outside, where Beltrán is eagerly waiting for him.

-"I hope you've eaten well because I'll drain all your energy, ha, ha, ha,!"- Beltrán tells Glegory.

-"You'll be the one left without energy, Uncle, you'll see,"- Glegory tells him.

Beltrán had read and learned a small part of the book he has to teach Glegory, but he had chosen the most basic and simple techniques for him.

They start stretching their bodies.

-"Alright, Glegory, I'll teach you this step by step. Watch and do as I do,"- says Beltrán.

-"This is called the Desert Strike. Watch closely, Glegory,"- says Beltrán.

Beltrán slightly leans his body backward while extending his right hand, pointing towards a tree. He maintains that posture for 2 seconds and then thrusts his body forward, hitting the tree with force. At that moment, the tree splits in two, leaving Glegory impressed. Determined to try it, Glegory makes his first attempt but fails because his body wasn't far enough back. He doesn't give up and tries again, but fails once more. On his third attempt, he only manages to generate a small gust of wind when hitting the tree. However, Glegory doesn't give up and keeps trying over and over again.

After two hours, Glegory continues practicing the Desert Strike. Several minutes pass, and he sits exhausted on the ground due to the numerous failed attempts.

-"What's the matter, kid? I'm getting bored. Tell me, how much longer do I have to wait for you to achieve that strike?"- says Beltrán as he sits on the fallen tree.

-"I can't take it anymore, it's impossible. It exhausts me too much, and I don't think I can do it, Uncle. It would be better if you taught me another technique,"- Glegory responds while remaining seated on the ground.

Beltrán takes a deep breath and stands up. He approaches Glegory and says, -"Listen, Glegory, even if it takes you ten years to learn this technique, never give up. Only the failures give up. So keep trying until you succeed."-

Glegory gets up after hearing Beltrán's words and tries once more. However, this time he concentrates even more. As he assumes the posture of the Desert Strike, he listens to the sounds of the forest: the birds singing and the gentle whisper of the wind through the leaves of the trees. Without thinking, Glegory leans his body backward and aims at a tree. He closes his eyes and proclaims with a powerful, resonant voice, -"DESERT STRIKE!"- Then, he strikes the tree, and in an instant, a group of trees shatters into a thousand pieces, causing destruction in a ten-square-kilometer area.

Beltrán, observing what happened, is left speechless because he didn't expect Glegory to cause such destruction with a simple strike.

Beltrán feels proud seeing that Glegory has a great talent for learning and fighting. He understands that Glegory is not an ordinary person and that his power is immense. For this reason, Beltrán decides to teach him only the basic foundations of the book, avoiding destructive techniques.

Time passes, and Glegory turns seven years old. He has trained and learned a lot in just two years. Beltrán, Aina, and Glegory's grandparents gather to discuss an important matter.

-"It's time for Glegory to attend school,"- says Beltrán.

-"No! It's too dangerous for Glegory to go to school,"- responds Glegory's grandfather.

-"But he has to go to school. Glegory needs to learn more, and his father asked us to teach him the right path. Besides, I think he could learn to be a good person at school,"- Aina expresses.

-"Well, I've made my decision. Glegory will go to school. However, if there's any problem involving Glegory, he will leave school immediately,"- Glegory's grandmother concludes.

Finally, everyone agrees that Glegory will attend school.

-"Yes, I'm finally going to school, and it's only 5 days away!"- shouts Glegory excitedly upon learning that he will be attending school.

The days feel long for Glegory, even though there are only 5 days left. He can't contain his excitement about going to school and meeting more children to play and train with.

As dusk approaches, Glegory feels like the day will never end. Determined to train a little more, he heads to the forest, walking towards an open area where he won't cause any trouble. While training, Glegory notices something strange in the forest: a group of animals has gathered around a tree. The tree looks peculiar, something is not right. His curiosity drives him to approach and see what's happening.

He walks towards the tree, and upon arriving, he realizes that the bark of the tree has a phosphorescent green tone on the surface. It seems to be a toxic tree, and Glegory doesn't want to touch it. At that moment, a white rabbit passes by the tree, and Glegory crouches down to pet it. However, when he stands up, his ankle twists, causing him to fall. By instinct, his hand searches for something to hold onto and ends up touching the tree. In the instant he touches the tree, he has a startling vision. In that vision, he sees a pulsating core as if it were a heart, and ducts carrying a green liquid around that core. It seems like he's observing the internal system of a living being.

Glegory continues to observe when suddenly a stone monster with chains attached to its body appears, carrying something that looks like a crystal ball. The monster walks, always looking forward, but suddenly its gaze changes direction, pointing directly at Glegory. In that instant, the vision closes, and Glegory wakes up with a headache. He feels somewhat confused.

Looking around, he realizes he's in another part of the forest, but closer. Frightened, Glegory runs again in search of the tree. However, when he arrives at the spot where the tree was before, he discovers it's no longer there.

Glegory, confused by what just happened, looks up at the sky and realizes it's already night. Deciding to return home, he heads in that direction. As he approaches, he spots a man carrying a torch. Not recognizing him, Glegory hides among some bushes. Suddenly, he feels someone pulling his shirt, and frightened, Glegory screams at the top of his lungs. But to his relief, it turns out to be Beltrán who found him, and the man with the torch is his grandfather.

At that moment, Aina and Glegory's grandmother also arrive at the scene since they had gone in search of Glegory upon realizing he hadn't returned home. Glegory feels relieved knowing that his family has found him.
