03 : academic life

Ryuma made his way towards his classroom with a little anticipation and excitement in his eyes. He was a year younger than Naruto and was in the class of Neji and others, which had clearly nothing described about their academy life except for the fact that only three of them managed to pass the after graduation exam and got Gai as their teacher. 

Although Ryuma didn't want to show much of its presence due to Danzo's roots still working on the surface. But he planned to stay at above average grade and pass the after graduation exam. After all, getting in the tutelage of a Jounin sensei was a great boon and, a short and secure path to success. 

Ryuma entered the classroom and with a quick movement of his head tried to observe his surroundings as much as he could. He quickly spotted the people that he wanted to spot and then silently made his way to the cornerback benches. 

Sitting on the near window seat, he did head down on the desk and focused his mind fully on his chakra control. As Ryuma was silently maintaining three small stones on the tip of his finger in both hands which required quite a good amount of chakra control. Practicing silently at the back bench Ryuma got engrossed in it and finally focused back on the class when the loud voice of his class teacher reached his year.

" Hello everyone!!! I am Kuzama Rei, a chunin and your classroom teacher that will teach you mainly all subjects for the next seven years till you graduate. I hope we all get along very well and all of you will reach your maximum potential, and soon become the best ninjas for the village. But for now let's start with introductions. "

During the introductions of all students Ryuma paid close attention to clan children or famous second names that he heard in the story. He too gave his introduction when his chance came and tried to keep it down as much as possible. With everyone saying their dreams in the introduction, ryuma simply said, 

" I want to be a good person in the future just like lord Hokage " .

This was the most normal dream that one can expect to have, thus no one paid much attention to Ryuma. Some even scoffed at his dreams like a certain white eyed guy who was doing just that for everyone who was dreaming big. But Ryuma didn't pay much attention to Neji due to his 'this' type of behavior being temporary and majorly due to his circumstances. 

Although Ryuma never considered himself very mature, he knew on the basic level that he was somewhat more mature than children of his age due to the circumstances that he faced while growing up. 

Thus while seeing Neji's character in the story, Ryuma felt Neji as a child who was trying to fight with his circumstances and trying to come up with reasons for the bad things that he faced like curse mark and his father's death. Whilst we knew that the actions he was doing were no good but no one was there to stop him and make him understand his faults. Although some reason that he came up with were true on a broad prospective but accepting them won't do any good for anyone. 

So Naruto defeating him and using his 'talk no jutsu' was the only good way of bringing him back. Because Ryuma didn't want to meddle unnecessarily in the story and he don't even know the hand signs of 'talk no jutsu', he decided to just stay hidden as a mob character for a few more years.

At 3 in the evening, the first day of academy classes ended. As soon as the teacher left the class, Ryuma took his leave from the back gate which was closer to his seat . Usually all the other students interact with each other on the first day and make friends with each other but Ryuma had no interest in these types of things. 

It was mainly due to two reasons. The first one being his mental age, which was now close to 21 after adding 5 years of this life. although children here grow extremely fast mentally maybe due to the presence of chakra here, still it was just too much for him to hold a conversation with a 5 year old.

Secondly, he himself wasn't a talkative guy. His nature was somewhat like Shikamaru, and Ryuma even related himself with Shikamaru and his beliefs somewhat on a level on many different points in his life and this was one of those. 

However there was one place where Ryuma could hardly relate with anyone, and that one thing was his intense determination to become the best in his respective field. This was something that he took pride in and fueled his pride with. His intensity and determination was always very extreme. Even in his past life if he decided to complete something or achieve something he always worked his bone out to achieve it.

In this life the thing that he was obsessed with, was creating his own unique powerful jutsu and a martial art of his own to fight the incoming problems. However in his path to achieve that he felt various difficulties and only by solving them one by one could he achieve his dreams.

Ryuma till now only focused on strengthening his foundation and thus focused more on his chakra control, body physique and his martial arts that he learned in his past life. 

Right now Ryuma was on the level of chakra control where he could easily walk on walls however he decided not to start water walking until he found a good place to do his water walking. Thus, he came up with more interesting ways to train his chakra control like sticking small pebbles on his fingertips or walking on his apartment walls with things attached to his body. All these things were tough and he didn't even reach the highest levels that he thought to achieve in these exercises. 

Ryuma had many out of the box ideas on using chakra just like a weeb teen and similar to this he also tried to perfect his past life martial arts that he learned in order to protect himself. However funnily he died by a gun shot and didn't even get a chance to display his martial powers.

But in this life he knew the importance of hand to hand combat thus decided to give one more try to it. Alongside this he also practiced the martial arts that the academy started teaching and had plans to merge both when he reached a level where he can do it freely.
