Jing Yunkui stood up in the pale room. His skin was as flawless as the pristine walls. He looked at Gu Lan and said, "What do you want to eat? Go ahead and take a look."
Jing Yunkui knew almost everything about this place, but he chose to play coy with Gu Lan, letting her enjoy the "fun" and "excitement" of exploring herself.
Gu Lan thought for a moment. She stood at the door and turned the handle—outside was a grid of electrical wires.
Gu Lan stared at the electrical grid for a while, then turned to look at Jing Yunkui. "Wow, this is so ruthless. They even use an electrical grid to seal the door. What a waste of electricity! The nation's power is being used for this kind of unnecessary thing."
Gu Lan focused on the electrical grid blocking her way and said earnestly, "It's a problem that could easily be solved with just a big lock, yet they've made it so complicated. Hasn't the hospital used locks before?"
