Tim, Nina, and Ireene moved a long way toward the Town of Hatly, which was now visible to them and was quite close to their position, while Ellie stayed behind to keep Walmo from attacking the four of them, with Ayuka accompanying.
"Look! Hatly is only a short distance away! We're nearly there! Let's pick up the pace a little and go find someone!"
Tim's joy was even greater than before now that Ayuka could finally rest for the night, and he tried to speed up, but he was stopped by Ireene, and Nina, who were rapidly losing their breath from the constant jogging.
"Tim, take a breath! You should go ahead and do it; we'll be right there with you!"
"Aw, don't tell me you're already exhausted? You should've done more training, and this short path wouldn't have been that difficult!"
"That's a simple statement for you to make! You may be our captain, therefore, be strong and all that! But we're simply regular girls who haven't prepared for such occasions! So, before you rush out the door, hurry up and-"
Nina had barely finished her sentence when she observed Tim waving at them from a distance. Her eyes nearly sprang out of their sockets as she sweated and came to a halt alongside Ireene.
"Your commander has a lot of energy..." Ireene grinned as she watched him sprint forward, despite the fact that they were being pursued by the Sand Shark Surfers.
"That's just the way he is. Let's keep moving forward and see if we can catch up..."
They both nodded in unison as Nina sighed and grinned in response, and they continued to sprint following Tim, who had suddenly vanished from their vision. They grew concerned and astonished when they heard loud screams coming from behind the edge of a barren hill.
When they reached the cliff's edge, they both glanced down to see a lengthy track rolling down the hill, with Tim sliding down it while struggling to maintain his balance.
"Whoaaahoaaahaaaaa!"
"Tim! Don't you realize you have an injured woman on your back?!"
Tim's balance seemed terrible, and he was struggling to stay straight, with his body wobbling left and right, due to the piles of sand positioned in strange ways with the terrain being hard to keep balance on. And as he screamed he sweated and felt how Ayuka's hands slowly started to lose the grip off his clothes.
"I know! But I ran too fast and I slipped on a rock at the edge of the cliff!"
Once he explained the reason to why he was struggling to keep balance, he quickly noticed a kid walking in the distance looking forward, right in front of Tim's path, on which he couldn't stop for a second.
"Watch out! Think you could help me out?!"
The boy moved his head to the side, his eyes, shook as he saw Tim slipping down the cliff at top speed, and he felt shocked with sweat streaming down his brow. Tim's mouth opened wide and his cheeks continued to shake from the pace as the boy stepped forward and leaped out of the path as Tim slipped closer to him. He yelled as he slipped passed the boy's body.
"That's not what I meant to help! Haaaaaaa!"
When the kid observed a girl on Tim's back, he froze and attempted to rush after him. However, before he could do so, a white spirit appeared behind Tim and glided forward. Tomomi instantly grabbed Ayuka's shoulders and held her in place to prevent further injury. Tim turned away from her and gave her a thumbs up as she gently floated toward the ground.
"Thank's a lot, Tomomi!"
Tim's eyes grew even bigger moments later when he realized there was a wall right in front of him.
"OH CRAP!"
The next second, a loud thump resonated throughout the town and the desert, leaving others surprised and concerned, while the boy who leaped out of the path was unimpressed by Tim's careless behavior.
Ireene and Nina, unconcerned with Tim's smashed body inside the wall, dashed down the cliff beside Tomomi, who safely rescued Ayuka.
"Is Ayuka okay, Tomomi?"
Tomomi took a step to the side to rotate her body and nodded again, unconcerned. "She'll be OK..." With both of the girls glad to discover Ayuka was safe, they turned their attention to Tim, who burst out from beneath the piles of boulders, yelling angrily.
"I'm fine!"
He had a serious face with his arms held far above his head, which was ruined when the same pile of boulders toppled on top of his head, smashing him back into the sand. As he evacuated a ghost from his body, his eyes began to whirl.
"Not fine..."

Ellie and Walmo continued their one-on-one confrontation, not far from Hatly, with both of them being suspicious of the other. Walmo sped across the sand on top of the shark, reaching for his back, where he stored another spear in case the other one broke in an emergency.
He sprinted at Ellie, who braced both feet and then raised electricity from beneath his soles to the point where it spread throughout his entire body, ejected it forth, and dashed forward, grasping the blade. With thunder blasting forward, he threw his left arm to the side near his left shoulder and blasted electricity from its tip as he dashed forward, firmly pushing the sand from beneath his boots backward.
Ellie sliced the blade forward and unleashed a zigzagging bolt of thunder that shot forward into Walmo's direction, who swiftly pulled back to stop and surf to the side, dodging the bolt in the last second before it burst behind him, scattering sand into the air.
Walmo dashed forward, swiftly, covering the ground between him and Ellie, then stabbed his spear forward, with Ellie stepping back with his left foot, rising rather than bending the other, and crossing his sword in front of him to guard himself from the spear stabbing him. He instantly observed Walmo speeding to the side, past his body, and overtaking him on his way to Hatly Town.
"I've got to catch up to Princess and those outsiders! There isn't any more time to waste! We've been given instructions, and we can't afford failure!"
"Oh no you don't!"
"10 Million Volt, Thunder! Gash!"
Ellie took a stride forward with his left foot and his right arm outstretched behind him, followed by his right leg and a forward bend of his torso. His both eyes glowed with lightning, and he dragged the sword from back to front, slicing it up into the air while stepping forward with his right foot for improved balance and force. He formed a line that flew through the sand and glowed in silver light, then began to rise up and unleash a straight row of lightning speeding behind him as soon as he got far enough ahead of Walmo's movement.
Walmo's eyes, shook and mirrored the lightning in his eyes, and a large explosion erupted the following second.

Karisa continued to watch Dora speed around her in a circle, never stopping for a second, grasping the side of her right shoulder to ease the discomfort from the gushing gash. She couldn't keep up with the Shark's speed and could only feel Dora's strike for a split second every now and again, cutting through her skin.
"I can't follow her movements! She's too fast for my eyes to follow!"
However, after a few more seconds of suffering the injuries, she noticed a pattern in Dora's actions and noticed that she was tossing the sand to the sides, showing a path in the sand that wrapped all around Karisa.
"That's it! I got it!"
("For a long time, she's been traveling in the same rhythm and in the same circle, causing the sand to disclose a way for me. Those sharks appear to be half-buried in the sand, flapping their fins beneath the surface to gain speed. If I toss my weapon in front of the route, the shark will collide with it, losing its equilibrium and reducing its pace. Well...")
"...Here goes nothing!"
Karisa took a large stride forward after spinning her pole. She flung her arm behind her and launched the pole into the air. It began to spin and fly through the area before descending toward the path that the shark had been following. It flopped upside down and buried itself in the sand, and the laughing Dora's shark slammed into it the next second. It lost all control and suddenly stopped moving in the air, tossing Dora into the air, who screamed and then fell to the ground into the sand, her spears flying through the air into the distance.
Dora tried to stand up, but she was interrupted by a pole pointed at her neck, and Karisa laughed as she reached for her spear.
"I wouldn't recommend that, unless you want to get hammered down. Be a good girl and let me tie you up."
Dora's eyes shook with rage, but she realized she'd been defeated and had no choice but to give up the fight.
Codey kept control of the massive sandstorm while also realizing that Karisa had triumphed. "Looks like she's done... I should also hurry up with this." He tossed his arms to the side, causing the sand wave to accelerate and catch up to Devia, who was surfing away from it.

Nina and Ireene helped Tim to hold Ayuka by putting her on top of his back and finally happened to find some sort of a place to stay.
"Try to be careful, okay?"
"Yeah, sorry! I shouldn't have been so rushy! What about you? Did you get hurt?"
Tim, Ireene, Nina, and Tomomi all glanced at the youngster, who seemed uninterested by them and remained calm, even obstinate. He didn't respond and began to walk away.
"Kou! It's me, Ireene!"
After watching Ireene show her face, Kou swiftly turned around and was taken aback when he met her. "Ireene...?" While Tim, Nina, and Tomomi were perplexed, he wondered.
"You two know each other?"
"Yes, he's one of my friends that I met a year ago. But, Kou, why are you here?"
With others staring at him in awe, he kept a casual expression on his face and stayed silent.
When Tim and his pals arrived in Hatly, they were surprised to find a friend, known as Kou of Princess Ireene who had been journeying through the desert for days.
Natan, Codey, Elliott, and Ellie, on the other hand, are still fighting the Sand Shark Surfers, with Karisa defeating one of them. Tim and the others have been slowly but steadily approaching the Golden Wasakona.
The journey continues...
