Chapter 24: the regrettable past
From the blue orb later that clouded the surface soon dance and orbited around it like the red orb.
Of course, these were merely special effect made by Zenn in his head. The real discovering and understanding was still the same as before. But because Zenn likes it this way, he still formed it as such in his mind. This was also like how he made an 'ice mask' in his head.
Anyway, the letters surfaced from the orb and converged seeming beginning to form words ad codes thay were beyond Zenn's very understanding.
It was after he fully looked at this process with a more calmer mind now that Zenn realised something he failed to the first time.
'This process is not completely done by me...'
Previously, Zenn had believed that the process of reconatructing the letters were all done by him, but it was only now that he realises that lost of it all was actually automated.
If he was to elaborate then he would say it was like how one would solve a mathematical equation with the assistance of scientific calculator. For most parts of what he must do, he only need to input the problem and it will soon solve itself.
The letter as of current were very much the same. Most of what he needed to do was bring the letters together and they will almost naturally form what he would come up with of he took the time to properly try to understand it all.
This was also likely why he does not instantly understand what is written in his head. Of course, that and the fact that most of the knowledge(of which he currently visualised as the dark interior of the orb) looks mostly like encrypted gibberish than anything else.
But according to the way he sees it, only a small fraction of the whole thing is actually 'decompressed.' So Zenn asked himself, 'why?'
Is it because he has yet to understand the other sets of nowledge? Will the other parts decompress themselves once he reached the mentioned '10%' in each knowledge?

He sun ha already set. The two moons in he sky were still visible for all to see. The many uncountable stars in the sky complemented the two moons. Making the sky all the more beautiful.
But as beautiful as It may be, if you look at it for too long, even the most beautiful gems will seem to fade. At some point one would lose interest and gaze at other beauties. This was the same for Queen Zuri and her soldier Ena.
With nothing else to do, they have watched the sky as the Queen tear for her kind flowed. But ultimately, her tears ran out and her interest in the alluring sky waned.
So in the end, the two just sat down and watched the towering figure of their lord. Who, for some reason, has been unresponsive for over two hours.
But as this has not been their first time seeing such a scene, they only stayed as far as they could and watched their lord breathing rhythmically without any sign of waking up any time soon.
It was t at It moment that, queen Zuri asked, "Ena, do you think i failed my people?"
"No my queen. You have done the nest you can for everyone."
"Did i? Among all those corpses, my daughter could be among them. Maybe many more of my children."
"..."
At that, Ena found that is not have much to say.
"Do i deserve all of this?"
"I don't understand..."
"I mean, so many people in that pile could veey well have been part of my kingdom. Do i as a queen deserve to live as they have all died meaninglessly."
"My queen, remember when we seperated feo the army?"
Remember?
Of course she did, that day was one of the days she took one of the hardest decisions in her life.
In an effort to resist Komoru and his charging forces, queen Zuri and many other queens had for once come together to form a large army of goblins. But over many battles, it seemed that their army was only comparable to mere paper to Komoru's. After all, Komoru's army consisted of many creatures other than goblins. The battles to resist Komoru was doomed to fail since he picked up that hammer.
It was in their last meeting that their army detected Komoru's army drawing closer. But with a their own thinning forces, they knew they could not survive another bout with Komoru. So they devised a last ditch plan. No, I could not even be considered a plan. For in the end, they were sure to die.
So what was their last resort?
They were to go to their lord. Their one and only creator in hopes that he could help them.
And as told in legends, when all the queens in the world cease to exist, with the sacrifice of one with true faith, the creator shall appear.
As such, a single queen was this chose to leave the army and awaken their lord. As the queen with the greatest faith among the queens and princesses, queen Zuri was chosen. Ena as her trusted soldier was tasked to protect her till she accomplishes her goal.
That day, queen Zuri left with a heavy heart, for she knew the fate of those she left behind. In order for the giant creator to appear, all queen must be sacrificed. That means by the time queen Zuri reaches the sea, all the queens would have long died.
But now, she was not sure how to proceed. When she made that choice to leave her people behind, she never believed she herself would continue to live.
As such, she felt like she cheated her people. She should have died on that cliff and fell towards the sea.
"I don't deserve to live..."
